Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:
Tampa Bay Rays @ Chicago White Sox
Chris Archer has not been the ace pitcher we’re use to as yet this season, but there’s absolutely no doubt he’ll bounce back on the mound. The 29-year-old has allowed eight runs on 12 hits in his two outings this season – but we’re betting that’s the exception, not the rule. The White Sox, after breaking out the bats on the road, are averaging just 2.67 runs per game at home with Jose Abreu going just 1-for-13 in that span. Meanwhile, Miguel Gonzalez will look to get his confidence back against a team he has enjoyed throwing to over the years. The right-hander owns a 2.76 ERA in 16 career outings against the Rays and we have him holding the visitors to around 3.2 running his time at the mound. We love that we can get the value on the alternate total here and feel this one should stay Unders given the way both line ups are hitting at the moment.

Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat
The Thunder are stepping up to the plates the season remains up for grabs and will need another big effort on the road in Miami.
The team are in control of their own destiny in a log jammed Western Conference but that doesn’t mean they’re going to have it all their own way.
Miami meanwhile will be playing postseason basketball regardless of the outcome, but they’ll need to step things up after some dismal showing so far this month.
Despite not playing a single game against a playoff team in their last five games they’ve still only managed to go 3-2 straight up and 1-4 against the spread.
The Thunder have dominated this match up in recent seasons, winning six of the last seven and the last four straight overall. They’ve had an average winning margin of 13.75 during that span.
Situationally, this game is of much more importance to Oklahoma and they also own a significant advantage in on court matchups as well.
Russell Westbrook will take some stopping and while statistically Goran Dragic does a good job in holding opponents to low numbers he simply doesn’t possess the athletic mobility or size to contain last season’s MVP.
On the other end of the court, Westbrook is coming off a lockdown showing on James Harden and he’ll be primed to slow down Dragic, who has averaged 53.3% shooting from the field in his last four starts.
Miami’s starters are averaging just 58.6 points per game in their last five starts, which is some way short of the 86.4 points per game that the Thunder are getting from their starting unit.
While the bench does favour the Heat in this one there’s simply too much disparity in the starting five for that second unit to make up and if the Thunder get in rhythm early this one could be a blowout.
We have a strong lean on the road team in this one as they look to go 5-0 against the spread in the last five against Miami.
Tip: Oklahoma City Thunder -3.0 @ $1.92 (Centrebet)
