I'll take my chances here with Texas a decently priced home dog against the Angels. LA is off to a fantastic 8-3 start to the season and just won the series opener 8-3 on Monday. This doesn't exactly look like a bounce back spot for the Rangers, who send out Martin Perez against Tyler Skaggs. Perez wasn't impressive in his first start at Oakland, while Skaggs has a 1.64 ERA and 0.909 WHIP over his first 2 starts. However, it's Perez that owns a 3.31 ERA in 11 career starts against the Angels, while Skaggs owns an ugly 6.57 ERA and 1.568 WHIP in 8 career starts against Texas. LA is also just 1-5 in their last 6 road games vs a left-handed starter and 1-4 in Skaggs last 5 road starts vs a team with a losing record. Give me the Rangers +131!

The Mets are getting tremendous pitching including Jacob deGrom who is 2-0 with a 1.54 ERA. The under is 5-2 in the Mets L7 and the Met's pen ERA is a razor sharp 1.21 over 37 2/3 innings of work. Caleb Smith has good stuff but needs to find the plate. His ERA is 4.32 but he's walked 9 in 8 2/3 inning but seems to wriggle out of jams. Runs will be tough to come by here, play the under.
