                Utah Jazz @ Portland Trailblazers
Two teams vying for the no. 3 seed in the West are set to square off in Portland as the Trailblazers host the streaking Utah Jazz.
Portland, after being the form team in the NBA for so long in 2018, have dropped four straight games heading into this one, which has allowed the Jazz a chance at nabbing the no. 3 seed for themselves.
All four of those games however did come on the road, and the Trailblazers at home are a very different proposition altogether.
Offensively, their production is increased by 3.2% on their home court where they’ve averaged 106.9 points per game this season with an average margin of +4.5 points.
What’s equally as impressive is their defensive production at home. Terry Stott’s team have held visiting opponents to 44.4% shooting from the field, which is a better rating than Utah’s defence on the road (they allow teams to shoot 46.3% from the field).
The team’s most recent meeting saw the Trailblazers absolutely run riot in Salt Lake City, coming off 100-81 winners in the first game back from the All-Star break.
Portland come into this one off a couple days rest, and that has boded well for the team when in this situation this season.
They are 10-4 both straight up and against the spread when playing off two days break and feel they’ll be the more motivated to get this win on their home court and close out the three seed.
Utah have covered the line just once in their last five visits to Portland and we don’t see that changing today. Take the home side at a great price to cover this one.
                Tip: Portland Trailblazers -3.5 @ $1.92 (Unibet)

as I have mentioned, this service is in Australia so they have some betting options not available at most places-

Despite only publishing tips as of 27 December, we managed to finish the season with a strike rate of 63.1% in our first season using our projections.
                NHL RECORD: 89-52 (+22.76 UNITS)
With that being said, there’s still plenty on offer now that the playoffs are here and we’ve generated our best series bets for the first-round. Here’s where our money is going:
                Winnipeg Jets v Minnesota Wild
This is not a good match up for Minnesota even if they were 100% healthy – which, they’re not.
The loss of Ryan Suter is such a huge blow for this team and one that will bear a huge level of stress and pressure on the rest of the team, in particular a returning Jared Spurgeon who simply won’t be his normal self after returning from a hamstring injury.
The Wild have had their struggles on the road throughout the season and travelling to a team that is playing as well as anyone in the league on their home ice is also a huge concern for the underdogs in this one.
Minnesota recorded just seven wins from 21 attempts on the road to playoff teams this season so it’s hard to see how they steal one from a team that finished with the most home wins in the league (32)
The only concern surrounding these Jets’ is whether their young core can step up to the occassion. The answer here is a definite yes from us.
They’ll be allowed to play at the high-tempo that suits their style for most this series and that will certainly take it’s toll on a very vulnerable Minnesota team that couldn’t have had a worse season with injuries.
We have Winnipeg racing out the blocks to take a comfortable series lead, which will see them wrap it up with games to spare. Take this handicap at great odds – note that them winning this series has dropped by 10 cents since opening, so it won’t be long until the series handicap follows suit.

Tip: Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (Series handicap) @ $2.00 (Sportsbet) (0.5 units)
                & Winnipeg Jets/Winnipeg Jets (Game 1 / Series double) @ $1.91 (Sportsbet) (2 units)
