It’s really no surprise to see the Reds owning the worst record in the majors to start the year and its very much where we expect them to finish the season. They’ll be hoping to at least get something on the board in their home series against the Braves, but won’t find it easy hitting against Mike Foltynewicz. The 26-year-old right-hander is off to an impressive start on the season where he’s yet to give up more than two runs in a game. He also owns a strong record against the Reds, going 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in his three career starts against them. The only good news for Cincinnati is that Sal Romano is coming off his best outing of the year, and also pitched some of his best baseball against the Braves last season. Romano gave up just one run in seven innings against them last season and while Atlanta’s hitters have shown an ability to get hot at times our data is still pointing firmly towards the Unders here. We’ll take a small stake on Atlanta as well at inflated odds and will continue to bet against the Reds this season.
