6-Unit Play. #915. Take Tampa Bay Rays -115 over Detroit Tigers (Monday @ 7:10pm est)
Let's make it 5 straight MLB Winners today as we get ready to post +$4200 on the Season and aim for +$10,000 (save money and join us for the entire season today). We went 6-1 last week for +$3300, let's see what we can do this week and get started off with a bang. We roll with the Rays today as it is a nice spot for them to continue to do well after their recent winning streak came to an end. Remember, Tampa Bay comes off a 4-3 loss to the RedSox but had beat them the 2 previous games as well winning 12-6 and 4-3. This team had swept the Orioles prior to that and swept the Twins and took 2 of 3 from the Rangers. Ever since this team got swept by the Phillies they have been a different team and are rolling right now. The Rays remember are #1 in the Majors in Batting Average and 5th in OPS and 10th in Stolen Bases. Jake Faria does have a 6.33 era but look beyond that and look at his splits. He comes off a bad start against Baltimore giving up 4 runs in 4.1 innings but prior to that had given up 1 run to the Rangers and 1 run to the Phillies and really just 1 bad start at Boston has his era all jacked up. Combine that with Zimmerman struggling all year with a 7.91 era and has not put together a quality start in 5 starts and has only 1 quality start over his last 10 dating back to last year including a 6.08 and 4.87era the previous 2 years, and as he faces a surging Rays team off a loss that likely doesn't bode well. Let's roll with Tampa Bay to get it done here on the bounce-back.
3-Unit Play. #555. Take Philadelphia 76ers -3.5 over the Boston Celtics (Monday @ 8:05pm est)
We look for a simple but important 3-unit winner today in the NBA as we wade gently into this series. We had a 3-0 weekend in the NBA Playoffs for +$1100 so that's a plus and we look to make it 4 straight winners today. Per this selection, we roll with Philly here as they simply have too much offense and more consistent offense than Boston. If Boston had issues against Milwaukee who can be a fickle team at times, they are going to have serious issues against a Philly team who can score and score with regular ease. Boston lost by 9 points the last time they played them though they did limit them to 89 points but they simply do not have an answer for Embiid and Simmons. Embiid is substantially more athletic than Horoford and with Simmons attacking and Reddick with the ability to stretch the floor, look for Philly who can get hot in a hurry to take Game 1. Remember, Boston is not that great of a shooting team and they can get in a rut quickly at times. Philly is also well coached by a Coach Pop Disciple and the Sixers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and the road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings as well.
MONDAY ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE SOCCER 7 Unit Play. Take Under 3.5 -130 Watford at Tottenham (3:00p.m., Monday, April 30) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time)
Sunday afternoon we pushed on are big Premier League soccer total but Monday night we don't see a push but we see an easy Premier League winner. Monday afternoon at Wembley Stadium Watford comes into town to face off Tottenham and the oddsmakers are telling us this game will not be close but I see great value on the total. Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 12 all competitions matches against Watford and today I see either a 2-0 victory or a 3-0 victory but no matter what happens this game stays under the 3.5 goal mark. In December at Vicarage Road these two clubs drew 1-1 and yes that game went under but I don't see a draw today but I do see a total winner. Tottenham last league game they drew against Brighton 1-1 and their last game played at Wembley Stadium they beat Huddersfield 2-0 and wouldn't shock me to see the same score today against Watford.
