A rough start to the month has been frustrating for our MLB service but luckily other codes have kept us in the positives for now.
We will work tirelessly to snap this streak and have full faith in getting back to winning ways.

Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:
Kansas City Royals @ Boston Red Sox
This may seem like banging your head against a wall but the Red Sox won’t lose this series at home to the Royals and they won’t be held to less than four runs. Danny Duffy has not pitched well and his 0-3 record and 5.40 ERA are certainly reflective of how he’s performed at the mound. That doesn’t bode well for him, or the team, given his career struggles against the Red Sox either. The left-hander is 0-4 with a 6.75 ERA against the Red Sox, while his opposing left-hander at the mound, Drew Pomeranz, has enjoyed his time against the Royals. In his two appearances against them last season he gave up just one run in 13 innings and we feel we’re going to get a better showing from him in this one after a rough return from injury. We’ve got a great lean on Boston here and feel the 1.5 line is aided drastically by the Royals bullpen and inconsistent hitting. This is too much value on the run line and will happily lock in the -1.5 as a result.

Baltimore Orioles @ LA Angels
To put it simply; this total is way too short given recent form and history of these starting pitchers. Dylan Bundy was terrific to start the year before being beat around by the Rays in his last start. While he does own a winning record against the Angels he does have a 6.48 ERA in two career appearances against them, and has had trouble trying to slow Mike Trout in those outings. Meanwhile, Andrew Heaney hasn’t exactly fared much better in his two career outings against the Angels as indicated by his 7.59 ERA against them. The 25-year-old was much better in his showing against the Yankees last time out but hasn’t been particularly consistent this season. While his fastball has certainly proven effective more often than not his lack of control is certainly his undoing in most cases. Our projections have this one sitting around 9.1 runs and the 7.5 total again is too inviting to pass up on here.
