3-Unit Play. #509. Take Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 over Boston Celitcs (Thursday @ 8:35pm est) (You can find -4 at William Hill and CG Tech)

We are being a big cautious here because Boston has not lost a home playoff game to date so far. That speaks volumes to their home court advantage. But, Philly just lost by 16 points, but did win earlier this year at Boston b 9 points (which makes us think this game probably goes under too). Philly and Joel Embiid both came out and said this is not who we are. This is a Phily team that is angry, hurt and they can ill afford to go down 0-2 going into Philly simply because if Boston happens to win a game there, then it will be 3-1 heading back to Boston and the series could be over in 5 games. So, at this point it becomes absolutely imperative for this team to do well here and now and today. Plus, Philly gave up 117 points to Boston and we just don't think Boston will shoot as well this time around with a very focused Philly team today as they are a good defensive team coached under the Coach Pop Tree. Philly bounces back solidly today.


3-Unit Play. #512. Take Toronto Raptors -6.5 over Cleveland Cavaliers (Thursday @ 6:05pm est)
If you are the Toronto Raptors, isn't this game everything for you? You just lost to Cleveland in overtime after losing to them twice in the regular season in Cleveland and losing the last 2 series to Cleveland. When are you going to stand up to Leron? This is a team that missed 11 straight shots to close out that game including a 3 pointer from Van Fleet and a tip in by Van Fleet in the end as well and still nearly won the game. This is a Toronto team that if they do not win this game, they are going to go to Cleveland with a chance of getting swept simply b/c they cannot play well in Cleveland at this point. So, this is now or never. If they lose this game, they are in deep trouble as they head into Cleveland down 0-2 with a possibility of getting beat and getting beat ugly as it becomes irrelevant at this point if they were the higher seed coming in. On top of that this is a small public fade as well today, the Cavs are 1-4 ATS following a straight up win and the Raptors are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games when facing a team with a winning road record.

7-Unit Play. #22. Take Winnipeg -138 over Nashville (Thursday @ 9:30pm est)
Let's make it 4 straight hockey winners today and move to +$3000 on the NHL Playoffs. You are Winnipeg and you just came back in a thriller against Nashville and ended up winning the contest going away in your last game by a score of 7-4. You nearly beat Nashville on the road losing 5-4 in overtime in a game where Nashville was staring down the barrel going down 0-2 heading back to Winnipeg. Winnipeg has consistently outplayed this team all series long and their offense is just fantastic right now and too fast and too efficient for Nashville who just can't keep up. Plus, Winnipeg went down 0-3 early after the first period last game and came storming back and it's hard to imagine another slow start today with this offense as they come out focused. Winnipeg is for real and Nashville frankly looks slow and old at this point as each contest has progressed into the later periods. The Jets are a streaky team and they are 5-0 after their team scores 5 or more goals in their previous game and 4-0 when facing a team with a winning road record (elite teams) at home as well.


4-Unit Play. #971. Take Over 10 Runs Cleveland vs. Toronto (Thursday @ 4:10pm est) (2nd Game of Double-Header).
You have an offense in Toronto that was clicking coming into this series and then they faced a stud in a rookie that Minnesota has that mowed them down to just 6 hits and 0 runs and they were shutout 4-0 in that contest. Toronto is angry as they come in and face a pitcher in Plutko who gets another shot at the majors here with Cleveland and he has been pitching well in Triple A with a sub 2.30 era. But, when Plutko pitched in the majors prior, the had over a 5era and he is paired with a pitcher in Biagini who is also new and gets a shot today as well. Biagini has been pitching well coming into this game but faces a red hot Cleveland offense as well and it is likely that one or both of these pitchers gets lit up today adn this game likely goes over this late afternoon. The Over is 3-0 for the Bluejays following a loss and the Over is 4-0 for the Indians when they face a left handed pitcher as well.
