7-Unit Play. Take #023-024 Washington/Tampa Bay GAME TOTAL UNDER 6 -110 (Friday, May 11th at 8:00 PM ET)
Take Washington/Tampa Bay GAME TOTAL UNDER as my 7-Unit NHL Smash for Friday night. This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and I have this game staying well under the posted total tonight. The Capitals will need to check extremely tight in this series and they will want to stop the Lightning from any fast breaks into the zone which will slow down this game big time. The Lightning will also have a similar game plan against the Capitals AND Vasilevsky has been great in the Playoffs with a 92.7% save percentage, and a 93.6% save percentage over his last 4 games. Holtby has also been solid between the pipes for the Capitals holding the Pens to just 4 goals total over their last 2 games. The Lightning also held the Bruins to just 2 goals or less in 3 of their last 4 games in that series and I expect them to step up defensively at home tonight. Play the UNDER as we move to 18-5 my last 23 NHL playoff picks.
6 Units - RUNLINE PLAY - #972 Cleveland (-1.5 @-120) over Kansas City 5/11 *7:10 EST
A total mis-match on the mound tonight as Trevor Bauer (0.69 WHIP his last 3 starts) gets the start for Cleveland versus Jason Hammel for Kansas City. KC off a bad 2 losses, and last night an embarrassing loss with Kennedy on the hill as KC opened the 1st inning with a grand slam and then got their butt kicked by the paltry O's. Hammels ERA is over 7 in his last 3 starts and he is backed by a bullpen that absolutely stinks, as KC's bullpen in the last 5 games has stunk it up. Yes, the Tribes bullpen stinks as well, but out of the gate Cleveland's struggling offense looks to get all over Hammel tonight as the Tribe are off back to back series on the road where they split with Milwaukee and got swept by the red-hot Yankees. I expect Cleveland to rail the Royals tonight who are 4-10 their last 14 road games and are a dismal 7-21 the last 28 meetings in Cleveland against their division opponent and they are also 8-22 the last 30 times these two have met. KC cannot close the deal in any scenario, willing to lay the run line here to lower the odds on what should be a solid ass kicking by the Tribe at home who have had a day off while KC played last night and have travel to boot.
Play 6 Units on #972 Cleveland on the RUNLINE -1.5
