3-Unit Play. #954. Take Philadelphia Phillies -115 over Atlanta Braves (Monday @ 7:05pm est)
We like the fact that Atlanta has scored 18 runs in their last 2 games and are likely in for a let down spot here against the Phillies. You have a Phillies team that scored 1 run in their last game and puts Pivetta on the mound who is rolling right now steamrolling the Orioles and the Giants in his last 2 starts for 6 hits and 1 run in 12 innings including 18 strikeouts and 1 walk in that stretch. He lost to the Braves a few starts ago by a score of 4-1 and given that Folty beat the Phillies a few starts ago, look for the Phillies to get their revenge along with Pivetta to get his revenge and the bats to awaken today. As good as Folty has been, note that he recently gave up 5 walks as well in a start and he can be a bit all over the plate and with an aggressive Phillies lineup we suspect he gets it done today along with the Phillies in a 5-3 type of contest.
3-Unit Play. #705. Take Boston Celtics +7 over Cleveland Cavaliers (Monday @ 8:35pm est)
It means a lot to us to close the NBA Season strong. Hopefully we will post 3 straight winners today and make it a 4-1 Run as there is still quite a bit of basketball left. We look to make it 11 Straight WNBA Winners Tomorrow. After accurately predicting the Cavs to get the job done in Game 3, we are switching sides for Game 4 for a number of different reasons. The first reason is because the Cavs absolutely shot the lights out from 3-point land. They nailed 17/35 for just under 50%. I have a hard time believing that a great X's and O's coach like Brad Stevens lets that play out again. Look for more switches on the perimeter and fewer open 3's for the Cavs players. Korver and Nance will not go 9/9 from the field including 4/4 from 3-point land this time around. Conversely, the Celtics should be much better from beyond the arc. They shot just 27 % and I expect that number to get back to season averages which was 37.7 % - good enough for 2nd in the league. And lastly - a team who got their ass kicked should be pissed off and motivated to bounce back and put in a performance they can be proud of. One player in particular needs to have a much better game for them to do so and that's Al Horford. Horford didn't attempt a shot in the first quarter and contributed only 7 points. I expect him to play a much bigger role and help the Celtics get this cover.
