      MLB | Pirates vs Reds
Play on: Pirates -130 at 5Dimes

Ben Burns is off a 6-1 Monday that included a top-rated winner at the ballpark. He's now 51-30 his L81 top-rated MLB plays and his 2018 GAME OF THE YEAR goes today. Here, he looks at the Pirates/Reds contest.
Both teams had yesterday off. Both are going to be hungry to get back on track today; the Pirates have lost three straight while the Reds have lost their last two. Pittsburgh should have a much better chance of victory. In addition to having a superb 1.98 ERA his last three starts overall, Taillon has also dominated the Reds the last two times that he's faced them. In fact, he's delivered 15 shutout innings in his last two starts against them, the Pirates winning by a combined score of 10-0. (Last time he saw them, he tossed a complete game 1-hitter.) Meanwhile, Harvey's teams are 1-4 his five career starts against the Pirates. Harvey gave up six runs in five innings the last time he started against Pittsburgh, his team losing 12-7. The Pirates average 4.9 runs per game, 4.5 on the road. The Reds, on the other hand, average 4.0 runs per game, just 3.7 at home. Pittsburgh hits .260 as a team, Cincy hits .238. Consider PITTSBURGH.

Three times already this season Brandon McCarthy has squared off against Vincent Velasquez. All three times the Braves and McCarthy have come away victorious. McCarthy has pitched 16 innings while allowing only 4 earned runs for a 2.25 ERA. He is now 3-1 with a 2.50 ERA in six previous starts against the Phillies. Velasquez has pitched 12 2/3 innings while allowing 13 earned runs for a 9.23 ERA. He is now 0-4 with a 4.89 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in seven previous starts against the Braves, still in search of his first victory against them. Velasquez is 2-2 with a 6.10 ERA in four home starts this year. Give me the Braves.

          MLB | ARI vs MIL
          Play on: UNDER 9 +100

10* MLB FREE PICK (Under 9)
I'll take my chances with the Brewers and Diamondbacks finishing UNDER the mark set here by the books. I just think the price is too good to pass up. These two would have to combine for 10 runs for us to not cash. Arizona is known for their offense, but they are in a major funk right now. The Diamondbacks managed just 2 runs on 3 hits last night and have now scored 2 or fewer runs in 9 of their last 11 games.
Hard to see them getting it going against the red-hot Jhoulys Chacin. After a miserable start to the season, Chacin has been on fire, posting a 2.58 ERA over his last 7 starts. He's got a 2.04 ERA and 1.188 WHIP in 3 home starts and a 1.96 ERA in his last 3 outings. He just recently faced Arizona on the road and held them to 1 run on 2 hits in 7 innings.
One reason the total has been set so high is Diamondback starter Matt Koch just allowed 8 runs in 4 1/3 innings at home to these Brewers in his last start. Koch simply didn't have his best stuff. I like him to bounce back here in a big way. Keep in mind that Koch hadn't allowed more than 3 runs in his previous 5 starts to open the season. Give me the UNDER 9!

            MLB | Diamondbacks vs Brewers
Play on: Brewers -133 at 5Dimes

D'Backs vs Brewers Free Pick May 22, 2018 The Milwaukee Brewers have won eight of their last 11 overall, and they beat Arizona by a score of 4-2 in Game 1 of this home series last night. I like the Brew Crew as a small favorite here in Game 2. Jhoulys Chacin will toe the slab for Milwaukee, and he's having a fine season for the Brewers. Chacin (3-1, 3.63 ERA) allowed one run on just two hits, fanning seven in seven innings in a no decision at Arizona his last time out. He's 1-1 with a 2.04 ERA in three home starts, and Milwaukee is 7-3 in his 10 starts overall this season. The D'Backs hand the ball to Matt Koch, who has been rocked in back to back starts after winning three of his first four. He gave up 11 runs on 16 hits over 12 1/3 innings in home losses to Washington and Milwaukee in his last two starts. He also surrendered a whopping six home runs in those two games. Paul Goldschmidt's struggles have continued. He was 0-for-3 in last night's loss and he's batting .104 in the month of May. A.J. Pollock leads the team in hits, home runs and RBIs, and he remains out with a thumb injury. Take MIL. GL, Jesse Schule

Play on: Warriors -8 -110 at pinnacle

This is a 1* Free Play on the Golden State Warriors.
We think that the defending champs have solved James Harden and company. Golden State played much more aggressively in Game 3 after its lacklustre performance in Game 2 and it completely threw Harden off his game. We think it’s safe to say that Golden State will be employing an identical game plan here as well. The Warriors have won 16 straight home playoff games and we have a hard time seeing the Rockets mustering much of an attack this time around either. Note as well that Houston is just 2-6 ATS this year as an underdog, while Golden State is 20-10 ATS in its last 30 following a win by ten points or more. Consider the WARRIORS on Tuesday night.

                MLB | Padres vs Nationals
                Play on: Nationals -1½ +110 at 5Dimes

#MLB FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN
The Washington Nationals were swept by the Dodgers over the weekend, but they snapped the three-game slide with a convincing 10-2 triumph over the San Diego Padres on Monday.
I think this looks like a good spot to back the Nats to record another big win as the Padres send struggling left-hander Eric Lauer (1-2, 8.14 ERA) to the mound. The 22 year old rookie has been tagged with 10 runs on 13 hits with four homers through his last seven innings of work, and he has posted a 9.24 ERA in three starts on the road this season.
The Nats hand the ball to right-hander Jeremy Hellickson (1-0, 2.20 ERA). He has allowed just one run through his last three starts, including 6 2/3 scoreless frames against the Padres earlier this month.
                Free pick on Washington Nationals.
