We've seen a ton of unders in Chase Field as a result. I think it's really gotten into the heads of the Diamondbacks hitters as several guys are having terrible seasons. The D-Backs have been better offensively away from home, and there's reason to believe in the OVER on Saturday because of it. Arizona will play in Oakland against the A's on Saturday afternoon. Zack Greinke is slated to go for Arizona, and he's really struggled on the road over the last few seasons. In fact, Greinke has some of the worst road splits in baseball over that span compared to his home splits. Trevor Cahill gets the ball for Oakland, and he's perfectly hittable. Take the Tampa Bay Rays with the money-line versus the Baltimore Orioles. Sergio Romo is getting the start for Tampa Bay (23-25) to pitch the 1st inning against the Orioles’ top of the order featuring right-handed batters but it will be Ryan Yarbrough who will be doing the heavy lifting in this game. The right-hander has a 4-2 record with a 3.54 ERA and 1.11 WHIP this season and has gotten the win in four of his last five appearances with him coming out of the bullpen in three of those contests. Yarbrough has pitched at least 4 innings in all five of these games — and he should pitch well at home where he owns a 1.03 WHIP and .198 opponent’s batting average. He should fare well against this Orioles team that has lost 39 of their last 52 games against right-handed starting pitchers. Baltimore (16-34) has lost 21 of their last 29 games on the road — and they have lost 19 of their last 26 games against teams with a winning record. At the time of this writing, public betting trends are indicating there’s been an extremely high percentage of bets that have gone on over the total as opposed to under. As a result, this total has gone from it’s opening number of 8.0 to currently being at 9.0 which is a huge move by MLB totals betting standards. I have no problem with taking a contrarian mindset and with my reasons detailed below.
The Angels starter Andrew Heaney has compiled a terrific 1.45 ERA thru his previous 5 starts. Heaney has faced the Yankees once already this season and allowed 1 earned run while striking out 9 in just 5.0 innings of work. The Angels scored only a combined 5 runs in that 3-game series in late April against the Yankees.
The Yankees Luis Severino has an excellent 1.67 ERA and 0.80 in 5 starts at home this season. Severino faced the Angels during that previously mentioned 3-game series and went 7.0 strong innings. Bet on this game to go under the total for my free pick on Friday 5/25.

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NBA Game #509 Friday Free Pick OVER the total in Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics @ 8:35 ET - With all the unders both in these finals (Eastern Conference) and in the Western Conference finals it makes it tough to release a premium pick on an over with the way things have gone. However, I truly do like the over in this Game 6 match-up and that is why you're reading about it right here! The Celtics, since late March, are 11-2 to the over when they are off of a game that was decided by a double digit margin. Whether Boston lost by 10 or more or won by 10 or more, the result in the next game has almost always been an over and this is a stretch of nearly 2 months worth of games! Cleveland is 24-16 to the over when playing with revenge this season and the Cavaliers are also on a long-term run of 32-21 to the over when they are off of a loss by a double digit margin. Keep in mind, the Cavs had been shooting very well (6 out of 7 strong games), prior to the poor results from the field in Game 5. The Celtics had scored 100 points or more in 8 of their last 10 games prior to being held to just 96 on Wednesday and I look for triple digits from both teams in this one as the Cavaliers have averaged 113 points per game their last 5 home games. I'm expecting a 4-3 type of game. So is the oddsmaker with the total lined at 7. The Twins would be 9-3 in their last 12 games if given 1 1/2 runs per game. Southpaw James Paxton is pitching great for Seattle. Paxton, though, has been good but not dominant in four home starts with a 3.04 ERA. He'll have to deal with the Twins' best power hitter as Miguel Sano is expected to play after missing the past 24 games with a hamstring injury. Minnesota has a winning record this season versus lefty starters, too. Twins starter Fernando Romero is living up to his hype as one of the top pitching prospects in baseball. The rookie has pitched extremely well in three of his four big league starts. He is 2-0 with a 1.66 ERA. The Mariners have never faced him. The Mariners' offense is down minus injured Dee Gordon and Robinson Cano. (Editor's note: Stephen Nover has his Baseball Total of the Month going today and also an NBA play in today's Game 5 Celtics-Cavaliers matchup.
