Joe Musgrove has posted impressive numbers in his two starts this season, but it’s a limited sample size and I don’t trust that he can keep it up. Though Oakland could score 10 on Moore alone, when the total is 10 or higher and the home team is batting .250 or worse over their last 20 games, with a hot bullpen whose ERA is under 2.50 the last 15 games, the UNDER is 73-29.

Everyone remembers Ben Burns closing out last MLB season on an AMAZING 47-16 RUN. Don't look now but it looks like "Deja Vu." Monday's SWEEP brings Ben to a SICK 9-2 the L3 days. Going back finds him @ an EPIC 31-9 the L11 days. Baseball is 24-6 the L30 overall, a BLISTERING 10-2 the L12 top-rated plays. Here, Burns offers his opinion on the Dodgers/Pirates game.
With an O/U line of 7.5 and a pair of starting pitchers each in excellent current form, runs figure to be at a premium for this game. That makes the value of getting an extra +1.5 runs that much more important than a game projected to produce double-digits in scoring. Without a doubt, Stripling has been excellent his past few starts. It should be noted, however, that the last two of those came at home. He's still only made three road starts, this season. Though he has a solid 3.21 ERA in those games, the Dodgers are just 1-2 and Stripling averaged only 4 2/3 innings. Meanwhile, Musgrove is 2-0 with an extremely stingy 0.64 ERA in two home starts, allowing a single earned run through 14 complete innings. The Pirates already beat Stripling a couple of seasons ago while the Dodgers haven't seen Musgrove. Consider grabbing the extra +1.5 runs with the home team.
