While Lance Lynn has had his struggles this season, he has been much better as of late. In his last three starts he has permitted just 3 earned runs in 18.2 innings of work. In his first six years in the majors he never exceeded a 3.97 ERA in any season. After struggling out of the gate in a new league, he is now starting to pitch like his old self. So while our starter numbers show an edge for the Angels, recency has us looking to back the veteran righty for the Twins. Minnesota has an 11% edge in the bullpen, and a 7% offensive advantage against right-handed starters. Wrong team favored here.

Going with Seattle who won last night and have a very consistent Marco Gonzales on the hill tonight. He allowed 1 run and 6 hits his last time up against Tampa in 7 innings and has cashed out his last 3 in a row. Great value even on the road at this number ads Tampa has stated their starter William Fonts will go maybe 3 innings tonight and turn it over to the bullpen. Gonzales can go deep into the innings and is a solid left hander and Tampa is struggling on offense batting just .199 as a team their last 5 games. Seattle swept them at home earlier this week (20-6 their last 26 against Tampa!) and now are up 1-0 on the Rays, at this number I will take them for 1 more.
