Now, all of a sudden they are 7th in runs and haven't lost back to back games in ages and we like them coming off a loss here, have a stud in Stripling with a 1.52 era and given Newcomb's inconsistencies and the fact that the Dogers are off a loss and won Stripling's last 4 starts, this sets up well for the Dodgers to do well late this afternoon. Let's roll with the better pitcher and a Dodger team that is very good at bouncing back of late as they likely get to Newcombe early today.

Phoenix is notorious for having let downs and we like Bill Lambeer's team as they come off a loss in their last game as well. This is a young Las Vegas team that will get up to face the Mercury for sure and get up to face athletes like Griner and Taurasi. Las Vegas has the ability to score and play timely bounce-back defense when they need to and this is a team that will likely rise up to the challenge as Phoenix comes off a huge win against Chicago which we were on Phoenix for that game. But, the difference here is Las Vegas has an inside game and outside game which will allow them to be balanced and competitive in this game and consequently should see Las Vegas staying inside the number.
