Off a loss last night against the Marlins I like Chris Stratton (3-0, 3.63 ERA last 3) on the hill for the Giants tonight. Miami has owned the Giants dating back to last year winning 6 out of 7 to date, but tonight I like the table to be turned as Stratton is a solid pitcher and a right hander, and Miami is hitting right handers as a team their last 5 games at .167. The Marlins send Trevor Richards out with a 5.40 ERA his last 3 starts and backed by a bullpen with almost a 6 ERA their last 5 games. San Fran has the better hitting team, better starter and better bullpen at a cheap number and you KNOW they want to hand the pesky Marlins a loss here. Bear in mind Miami's win last night was only their 5th win in 22 games.

This is more of a fade on Sal Romano of the Reds more than anything. His last 5 starts, 10.72 ERA and he gets lit up early and often. These are 2 bad teams, and KC's hitting woes should in fact subside tonight against the Reds at home. KC''s Ian Kennedy is no Cy Young contender by any stretch, however his last game he was sharp against the Angels and I like him here at home for a small bonus play today as KC should get the better of Cincy who is off a rare win Sunday and the game after they have a win, they are just 1-8 the following game.
