    MLB | Angels vs Royals
Play on: Angels -1½ -105 at BMaker

Jack’s Free Pick Monday: Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (-105)
The Los Angeles Angels should have no problem winning by two runs or more tonight against the reeling Kansas City Royals. The Royals are 2-17 in their last 19 games overall with 12 of those losses coming by two runs or more.
Tyler Skaggs has been the Angels’ best starter this season at 6-4 with a 2.81 ERA and 1.225 WHIP in 14 starts. He has been at his best on the road, going 5-1 with a 2.27 ERA and 1.112 WHIP in eight starts away from home. Skaggs is 3-0 with a 0.45 ERA in his last three starts.
Skaggs has never lost to the Royals, going 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 0.714 WHIP in two career starts against them, pitching 14 shutout innings. He’ll be opposed by Brad Keller, who is 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.661 WHIP in four starts for the Royals this season, averaging just 4.7 innings per start.
The Angels are 14-2 vs. teams who win 38% or fewer of their games this season. They are beating these teams by 3.0 runs per game on average. Los Angeles is 12-1 vs. AL teams scoring 3.9 or less runs per game, winning these contests by 3.4 runs per game. Bet the Angels on the Run Line Monday.

      MLB | Pirates vs Mets
Play on: Pirates -107 at betonline

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Pittsburgh Pirates -107
The Pirates had climbed their way back to .500 but have lost five straight since. They should be able to get back in the win column today against a team in the Mets that is struggling more than they are. The Mets have lost six in a row coming in. Jameson Taillon is having a productive season at 4-6 with a 4.03 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 15 starts for the Pirates. Taillon has shut down the Mets in two previous starts against them, going 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA and 0.79 WHIP. Seth Lugo is used to being a reliever and is only averaging 4.5 innings per start for the Mets this season. This New York bullpen has posted a 4.73 ERA and has been overused this season, especially of late as the Mets have allowed 6 runs or more in five of their last six games. The Pirates are 13-6 in the last 19 meetings. Give me the Pirates.

          MLB | Mariners vs Orioles
Play on: Orioles +122 at 5Dimes

1* Free Pick on Orioles +
I like the value here with the Orioles as a short road dog against the Mariners on Monday. Baltimore is finally starting to play some decent baseball. They just split a 6-game road trip against the Nationals and Braves.
A big reason is they are starting to produce at the plate. The Orioles scored 20 runs in their 3 games against Atlanta over the weekend and they should be able to keep it going against Seattle's Felix Hernandez, who owns an ugly 6.97 ERA and 1.600 WHIP in 8 road starts.
The Orioles will send out the red-hot Andrew Cashner, who has posted a strong 3.37 ERA in his last 3 starts, which have come against the Yankees, Blue Jays and Nationals.
Mariners are 1-5 in Hernandez's last 6 starts and have lost 4 straight road games against a right-handed starter. Take Baltimore!

              MLB | Diamondbacks vs Marlins
Play on: Marlins +120 at MyBookie

10* FREE MLB PICK (Marlines +120)
I'll take my chances here with Miami at home against Arizona. The Diamondbacks come in fresh off a 4-game sweep of the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Arizona has already secured at least a split on their current 10-game road trip with a 5-1 start to the trip. I think off that 4-game sweep we could see Arizona come out a bit flat here in Miami, where they have lost 6 of their last 7 games at Marlins Park. Miami is also playing with some confidence, as they took the final 2 games of their 3-game series at Colorado to finish up their 9-game road trip with a 5-4 record. They put up 14 runs in the final 2 games against the Rockies and I look for the offense to carry the load here against Arizona's Shelby Miller, who will be making his first start since April of last year. It's also worth noting Miami has won 5 of their last 6 series openers and are 6-2 in Dan Straily's last 8 home starts and 4-1 in his last 5 starts vs a team with a winning record. Give me the Marlins +120!

                  Free MLB Selection…
Pittsburgh/Mets to go UNDER the total of 7-1/2
                  Pitching Matchup:
Pittsburgh (36-41) uses RHP Jameson Taillon (4-6, 4:03), the Mets (31-44) bring RHP Seth Lugo (2-2, 2.85) to challenge in game #1 of the series.
                  Game Analysis:
The Pirates and Mets show on Monday each in a deficit ridden losing streak, the Bucs have lost 5 in a row at the hands of Arizona and Milwaukee. Home standing New York is on a 0-6 downer with the Dodgers and Rockies the opponents. This will be the first meeting in 2018 in this series. Since 2016, the Mets have a 6-4 edge. Scoring consistency can be an issue with each squad, the Mets averaging only 3.14 runs at home, the Pirates 4.30 runs on the road. We note, Taillon has allowed 10 home runs this year but, then again this is New York at home! Also, Pittsburgh scored just 8 runs in the aforementioned losing streak.
The Mets would be a lean SU here, however, I prefer to try the total card. The series has gone OVER 6-1-1 last eight times out but, we have conflicting data with the Pirates/Taillon going UNDER in 5 straight road outings versus

My money is on the Indians as a short road favorite against the Cardinals. Cleveland comes in having won 7 straight and it's been quite the run. The Indians have scored at least 4 runs in all 7 wins and have put up 6 or more 5 times during this stretch. They have also not allowed more than 3 runs in any game during the win streak and have allowed a mere 9 runs total over the 7 games. I expect more of the same with Mike Clevinger on the mound for Cleveland and the Cardinals sending out John Gant. Clevinger is 6-2 with a 3.00 ERA in 15 starts, owns a 2.27 ERA in 7 road starts and a 1.69 ERA in his last 3 outings. Gant is 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA in 3 starts and has a 6.52 ERA and 1.449 WHIP in 2 home outings. Bet the Indians -120!

1* on Tampa Bay Rays -120
The Key: The Tampa Bay Rays just swept the Yankees at home last series. They went 5-5 during a 10-game stretch against the Astros and Yankees. Now they will take down the Nationals in Game 1 of this series Monday. The Nationals had a big comeback on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball last night over the Phillies and I always like fading teams off the Sunday Night game. Blake Snell has been awesome this season for the Rays are 9-4 with a 2.48 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 16 starts. He has been lights out at home, going 4-1 with a 0.96 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in 6 home starts. Gio Gonzalez has faltered of late at 0-2 with a 7.43 ERA and 1.95 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Gonzalez is also 2-2 with a 4.64 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in 4 lifetime starts vs. Tampa Bay. The Nationals are 0-5 in their last 5 games following a win. Washington is 1-5 in its last 6 road games. The Rays are 6-0 in their last 6 home games. The Rays are 10-2 in Snell’s last 12 home starts vs. a team with a winning record. Take Tampa Bay.

It doesn't take much for me to want to fade the Orioles, who are a staggering 30 games below .500 already. The spot, pitching matchup and value price are enough to do it here. It's Felix Hernandez versus Andrew Cashner. Hernandez isn't the King Felix of old, but he's in good form and rates a strong edge on Cashner, who hasn't been reliable since his days pitching at Petco Park with the Padres five years ago. Hernandez has allowed only one earned in each of his last two starts. Those outings were against the Red Sox and Yankees, too. Now he steps way down in class to face the Orioles, who rank in the bottom-three in runs and batting average. The Orioles have average power, but Hernandez has cut back on the long ball surrendering just two homers during his last seven starts Cashner is 2-8 with a 4.72 ERA on the year. The Mariners are 20-8 versus righthanders. It's a nice plus if the Mariners get back Jean Segura. The Mariners have been on the East Coast the past week. They've gone 1-5 in their last six games. Note, though, those matchups were against the Yankees and Red Sox. The Orioles haven't been home in a week. So they may not have their full focus. Baltimore hasn't played well at Camden Yards losing 11 of its past 12 home contests. The Orioles also have dropped 40 of their last 53 games against a righty starter.

                                MLB | Padres vs Rangers

                                Texas -140
The Rangers are worth a flyer here on Monday night.
Texas comes in laying juice but grabs a huge edge here pitching wise.
The Rangers send out LH Cole Hamels, who owns a very respectable 3.41 ERA on the season. Hamels has been on the unfortunate end of some lack of run support at times, but he may not need much here.
The Padres boast one of the worst offenses in the MLB, averaging only 3.41 runs per game on the road.
Some trends to note. Padres are 1-4 in their last 5 when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game. Padres are 1-5 in their last 6 road games.
                                Grab the home side here.
                                Back Texas.
                                Good Luck, Razor Ray.
