Frankly, Colombia has not looked good coming into this World Cup and one has to think that probably carries over against a Japan team that is very good at controlling pace and playing keep away. Remember Japan did not score against Ghana or Switzerland and did score 4 against Paraguay but Paraguay is terrible. And, with Colombia rolling in not having scored against Australia or Egypt. At the end of the day, the only way Japan keeps this game close is by basically playing keep away and a strong element of defense while taking their shot here or there. And, Colombia is aware this team put up 4 goals in their last game against Paraguay and did not yield a goal in their last 2 games to their credit as well, hence we like the Under here.

If the Indiana Fever are to build off of their first win of the season, they will need to shoot the ball 10x better than they did when they played LA the first time this season. The Fever gave up 33 first quarter points and were never in the game from that point on. The Fever also shot just 39% from the floor and 32% from beyond the arc. They come into tonight's game on the heels of an impressive blowout win against Atlanta for their first win of the season. That game can be used as a confidence builder and we expect the Fever team to be excited about what happens when they play to their potential. We don't expect Indiana to let the Sparks jump out to a massive early lead again in this game as this is an extremely big benchmark game and in a revenge spot, we expect the Fever compete and keep this game close throughout. The Sparks come into tonight's game winners of four straight, including a mini-two game road trip where they beat Washington and Chicago. This is a massive letdown/lookahead spot for the Sparks as they have a trip to Dallas on deck and then the Liberty in town right after. The Cubs have been blanked in 3 of their last 5 games and they have not been consistent at all offensively of late and they run into a red hot Dodger team that comes off a rare loss in their last game and who is highly motivated to do well today. The Dodgers had won 5 in a row before losing their last game and they will see a lot more pitches to hit today against Chatwood who is not too far removed from a 7 walk and 5 walk performance. They send Maeda on the mound who shutout Colorado and Miami earlier this year and is the far more consistent pitcher than Chatwood and we'll take the Dodgers off a rare loss with the better and more consistent pitcher today.
