4-Unit Play: Take 903 Brewers -130 over Reds (1:10 p.m., Sunday, July 1)
I'm backing the Brewers on Sunday with Peralta over Harvey. Cincinnati won 12-3 on Saturday for its first win against the Brewers in eight games this season. Milwaukee will bounce back though with Freddy Peralta on the mound and he owns a 3-0 record and 1.59 ERA in four starts this year. Peralta comes off seven shutout innings against Kansas City while allowing just one hit. He has not given up a run in three of his four outings and the Brewers have won all four of his starts. Milwaukee still sits atop the NL Central and it has a 24-17 road record while the Reds are still 18-25 at home despite their recent improved play. Matt Harvey comes off two good outings, but he still owns a 3-5 record and 5.28 ERA overall and 8.76 in four day games. Harvey faced the Brewers once this season and gave up four runs on eight hits in five innings. Milwaukee is 35-17 its last 52 games after a loss going back to last season. I'm playing the Over between the Braves and Cardinals on Sunday. The matchup of Foltynewicz and Gant features a pair of hot starting pitchers, but because of their recent heaters, the value is absolutely on the Over. We also note that six of the last seven meetings have gone over the total and despite Folty's great run, the Braves have played to the Over in five of his last six starts when he throws on five days rest.
