Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Minnesota Twins -110
The Minnesota Twins will be highly motivated to avoid the sweep after losing the first two games of this series to the Milwaukee Brewers. With their ace on the mound today, they should be able to get the job done at a great value.
Jose Barrios is 8-6 with a 3.52 ERA and 1.006 WHIP in 17 starts this season for the Twins. He is having a great year and is clearly the better starter in this matchup. He has given up just 84 hits in 107 1/3 innings with 111 K’s.
Chase Anderson is 6-6 with a 4.18 ERA in 16 starts for the Brewers. Anderson has been at his worst at home, going 3-3 with a 5.29 ERA in nine starts at Miller Park. Anderson is 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA and 2.20 WHIP in one career start against Minnesota.
The Twins are 4-0 in Berrios’ last four starts following a loss in their previous game. Minnesota is 10-4 in Berrios’ last 14 starts after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. The Brewers are 1-5 in their last six during Game 3 of a series. Bet the Twins Wednesday.

MLB | Orioles vs Phillies
Play on: Phillies -215 at 5Dimes
Take the Philadelphia Phillies with the money-line versus the Baltimore Orioles listing both starting pitchers Aaron Nola and Yefrey Ramirez. Philadelphia (46-37) has won five of their last six games with their 3-2 win over the Baltimore in the opening game of this series. The Phillies have won 5 of their last 6 games at home — and they have won 9 of their last 11 games against teams with a winning percentage below 40%. Baltimore (24-60) has lost 39 of their last 51 games after failing to score more than two runs in their last game. The Orioles have also lost 8 of their last 10 road games against teams with a winning percentage over 60% at home. Take Philadelphia with the money-line listing both starting pitchers. Best of luck — Frank.

MLB 75 DIME GAME
PHILLIES -1.5
The Phillies have their Ace on the hill and overall, they have been playing well as of late. The same cannot be said about the Orioles, who have the worst record in the bigs. The Phillies are 5-2 in Interleague Games. Nola will have another strong outing and the Phillies will win this game.
Phillies by 3 runs or more.

The New York Mets are just 6-23 in their last 29 games overall. The Blue Jays should be able to beat them by at least two runs in this one. Marcus Stroman returned from an injury that sidelined him for nearly two months. He has been sharp in his first two starts back, allowing just 2 earned runs in 12 innings for a 1.50 ERA. Corey Oswalt was rocked in his only start for the Mets this season on June 29th. He gave up 6 earned runs in 2 2/3 innings for a 20.22 ERA against the light-hitting Marlins. The Blue Jays are 12-2 in home games vs. teams who average 2.75 or fewer extra base hits this season. They are winning by 3.0 runs/game in this spot. The Mets are 0-17 as road underdogs of +175 to +250 over the last three seasons. They are losing by 5.2 runs/game in this spot. Give me the Blue Jays on the Run Line.

10* FREE MLB PICK (Twins -110)
I'll take my chances here with Minnesota taking the series finale to avoid getting swept by the Brewers. The fact that the public is on Milwaukee here and the line has shifted in favor of the Twins, is a really good sign that Minnesota is the right side in this one. I think a lot of that has to do with the pitching matchup. The Twins will turn to Jose Berrios, who is primed for a strong outing after struggling in the heat at Chicago in his last outing. Berrios gave up 6 runs in 4 1/3 innings to the Cubs, but still comes in with a solid 3.52 ERA and 1.006 WHIP in 17 starts. Milwaukee will turn to Chase Anderson, who i just 3-3 with a not so great 5.29 ERA and 1.259 WHIP in 9 home starts. Give me the Twins -110!
