The Braves are in a battle in the National League East as they are tied with the Phillies for first place while the Nationals are in hot pursuit and they need a good outing from Julio Teheran. Teheran has alternated good and bad starts since a short stint on the disabled list and I think he will come through tonight. Marcus Stroman has had a forgettable season for the Braves as he is just 1-6 with a 6.50 ERA. He has had his own injury issues this season that has limited him to making only 10 starts and I think he will have a tough time navigating the surprisingly dangerous Braves lineup, that is led by All-Stars Freddie Freeman, Nick Markakis, and Ozzie Albies. I like the Braves to take the first game of this two game series.
