Only the Mets are more inept at hitting left-handed pitching than the Angels, who are .220 against them. And L.A. has been historically poor against James Paxton, who has a .207 ERA and a .185 batting average allowed against the Halos. Tyler Skaggs was a beast in June, but he was only so-so against Seattle in May, and he's actually been better in road starts (5-2, 2.11 ERA) than home ones (1-3, 3.62). One interesting side note: On games when the line is posted between -120 and +110, the Mariners are a remarkable 26-10, while the Angels are 8-22.
