At the end of the day it comes down to the form that the teams are playing with right now as the playoffs approaches. Remember, we went 7-0 in the WNBA Playoffs to close out so it all depends on the form and that is what we look for. You have a Mystics team that was embarrassed by 20+ points by Connecticut who shot the lights out before the break (and against Las Vegas recently too) and that loss spurred Washington to back to back big wins including beating Atlanta and on the road (a very rare loss for Atlanta who has now basically moved up to 2nd in the WNBA fighting with LA for that spot). The fact that this team went into Atlanta and won that game shows how good Washington can be when they want to be and they beat Dallas on the road who was desperate for a win there as well. Make no mistake, Washington is turning its season around before our eyes, lost by 10 to this Phoenix team earlier this year, has revenge, Phoenix has lost several in a row but has a sandwiched win against Las Vegas in the process and just is not as sharp nor has the offenisve punch needed to win this game. Washington will be too much with their depth as they win yet another road game outright here.

What makes this game interesting is that Coach Reeves called out Maya Moore in her last game and said that she and frankly her former MVP Center are not playing well and their 36 points last game is not enough and they have to play better. Make no mistake it was calling her team out and with the championship pedigree his team has, and the fact they need this game to get into the playoffs, they probably show some pride here and rally together to likely pick up a win today. Chicago is a good team and they will get up to face Minnesota but Minnesota is a championship caliber team who has to show some pride here after their coach called them out in their last game.
