Rickenbach MLB Game #905 Saturday 10* Top Play OVER the total in Atlanta Braves vs Milwaukee Brewers @ 7:10 ET
- The Braves crushed the Brewers 10-1 yesterday and are also one of the top hitting teams in the majors against left-handed pitching. In other words, the Atlanta bats should absolutely stay hot today as they take advantage of facing southpaw Wade Miley. The Brewers lefty shows some good numbers in terms of his stats but, he has had limited action and will be exposed here. Other than a superb start against the Dodgers Miley's other outings have seen him allow 13 walks and 20 hits (total of 33 baserunners) in 21 and 1/3 innings! The start against the Dodgers was the only one of Miley's last 5 outings that have stayed under the total. The over is 7-1-1 in Milwaukee's games this month and they should pound Julio Teheran. The Braves, overall, have gone 4-1-1 to the over in their last 6 games and Teheran is likely to struggle here. He has lost command of his slider and walks have often been an issue for him of late plus, overall, his ERA is north of 5 over his past ten starts! Teheran allowed 7 earned runs in just 3 innings when he most recently faced the Brewers. The Brewers had averaged scoring 5.4 runs per game in their last 8 games prior to yesterday's loss. They'll bounce back here and the Braves bats (7.5 runs per game last 4 at home) stay red hot. 10* OVER the total in Atlanta

4-Unit Play. Take #913. Pittsburgh -107 vs San Francisco (Saturday@ 9:05p.m. est).
3 MLB Selections Today. We are 4-1 this week, let's look to have a solid day today with these 3 selections and hopefully go 2-1 or even better. Prior to last night's wild 13-10 loss, the Pittsburgh Pirates had won three straight games, scoring 10, 4 and 10 runs. Sure, they got to the 10 mark once again last night, but it wasn't the bullpens vault. Clay Holmes made a spot start and was shelled for 7 runs in 2.2 innings. We expect the Pirates to get better starting pitching tonight as they sound out Trevor Williams to the mound. Williams has been lights out of late, giving up just 2 runs in his last 22 innings of work. We expect him to continue his recent form and the Pirates to get him enough run support off of Ty Blach - who is making a spot start because of the injury to Bumgarner. Blach needs to go deep and give the bullpen a rest, but we don't see that happening. Blach has a 4.28 ERA and a 6-6 record overall. We already know the Pirates are seeing the ball well, but the Giants had scored just 10 runs in their last 3 games prior to yesterday's outburst. The Pirates are 8-3 in their last 11 road games while the Giants are just 2-8 in their last 10 home games.
3-Unit Play. Take #905. Milwaukee -111 vs Atlanta (Saturday@ 7:10p.m. est).
The Milwaukee Brewers and Atlanta Braves are two of the surprises of the MLB season so far. The Brewers sit just 3 games back of top spot in the NL Central while the Braves are in a virtual tie for top spot in the NL East. The Brewers lost last night's ball game 10-1, so we believe they will be pissed off and come out swinging today against Julio Teheran. Teheran has given up at least 3 runs in three straight games including 7 to the weak hitting Miami Marlins. The Brewers - if focused today should have no problem getting to Teheran early and often. They will also counter with Wade Miley who has a 2.25 era over his last 5 starts and is holding opponents to just a .212 batting average. The Braves may have won 3 out of their last 4 games, but you can't win them all. This is a nice spot for Milwaukee to bounce back and gain a game on the Cubbies, so take Milwaukee. The Brewers are 4-1 in their last 5 road games vs a righty while the Braves are just 3-8 in Teheran's last 11 starts vs the NL Central.
3-Unit Play. Take #909. LA Dodgers -140 vs Colorado (Saturday@ 8:10p.m. est).
The LA Dodgers are gearing up for a deep postseason run but their first order of business is to get back in the win column tonight against Colorado. We expect them to do so on the back of Walker Buehler - the young righty who has a 5-4 record with a 3.63 ERA. Buehler has pitched very well lately, holding the hard-hitting Brewers and Astros to just 2 and 1 runs respectively while striking out a combined 15 batters. We expect Buehler to turn in a solid performance today against a Colorado lineup that may be without Nolan Arenado today. Prior to last night's win, the Rockies had lost 3 straight and scored just 10 runs. The Dodgers are 6-1 in their last 7 vs a lefty and 4-1 in Buehler's last 5 starts vs the NL West. They are also 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Colorado. Take the better team here. Take LA.
