    MLB | Indians vs Reds
Play on: Indians -1½ -135 at betonline

Jack’s Free Pick Tuesday: Cleveland Indians -1.5 (-135)
The Cleveland Indians have gone 10-3 in their last 13 games overall. They should win this game by two runs or more with ease against the Cincinnati Reds tonight thanks to their big advantage on the mound.
Ace Corey Kluber gets the ball for the Indians tonight. Kluber is 14-6 with a 2.74 EA and 0.919 WHIP in 24 starts this season, including 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA and 0.729 WHIP in his last three. He has never lost to the Reds, going 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA and 1.087 WHIP in three career starts against them.
Sal Romano is 7-9 with a 4.96 ERA and 1.396 WHIP in 22 starts for the Reds this season. Romano faced the Indians back on July 10th, giving up 4 runs and 2 homers in 7 1/3 innings. The Indians have scored 19 runs over the past two days and should stay hot at the plate against Romano.
The Indians are 12-2 in their last 14 games vs. a right-handed starter. Cleveland is 73-26 in its last 99 vs. a team with a losing record. The Indians are 11-1 in Kluber’s last 12 road starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Reds are 1-8 int heir last nine games vs. a right-handed starter. Bet the Indians on the Run Line Tuesday.

        MLB | Angels vs Padres
Play on: Angels -105 at 5Dimes

        Dave’s Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Los Angeles Angels -105
The Key: The Angels have won 5 of their last 7 games to get to .500 on the season. They have not given up and should beat the Padres tonight. Jaime Barria is clearly the better starter in this matchup. Baria is 7-7 with a 3.59 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 17 starts this year, including 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in his last 3 outings. Brett Kennedy will be making his 2nd start this season. He was shelled for 6 earned runs, 11 hits and 3 homers in 4 innings for a 13.50 ERA in his 1st start against the Brewers on August 8th. The Angels are 21-7 in their last 28 games vs. a team with a winning percentage below 40%. The Padres are 4-17 in their last 21 home games. Take Los Angeles.

              MLB | Nationals vs Cardinals
Play on: Cardinals +102 at GTBets

1 Unit FREE PLAY on St. Louis Cardinals +102
The St. Louis Cardinals have reeled off six straight victories and have gone 10-2 in their last 12 games overall. They have scored at least seven runs in five straight as well. The Nationals just keep finding ways to lose because they have one of the worst bullpens in the majors. I’ll back John Gant and the Cardinals in this matchup. Cant is 2-4 with a 4.27 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 10 starts this year. Gio Gonzalez has been at his worst away from home, going 3-5 with a 4.26 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 12 road starts. He is 7-8 with a 3.89 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in 23 starts overall this year. The Nationals are 0-6 in Gonzalez’s last six road starts. The Cardinals are 7-0 in their last seven games after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game. St. Louis is 35-16 in its last 51 home meetings with Washington. Give me the Cardinals.

                Play on: UNDER 7 +105

10* FREE MLB PICK (Under 7)
I'll gladly take my chances here with the UNDER 7 in Tuesday's interleague action that has the Rockies visiting the Astros. Houston will send out Justin Verlander, who has to be chomping at the bit to take the mound after giving up 6 runs in just 2 innings in his last start at home against the Mariners. It was just the third time this season that Verlander allowed 5 or more runs. In each of the previous two instances, he rebounded with a great start. He allowed 5 runs at Tampa on 6/30. His next outing he allowed 2 runs in 7 innings with 10 strikeouts. He gave up 5 runs to Detroit on 7/15 and in his next start threw 6 shutout innings with 11 K's. He's also got a 1.37 ERA and 0.763 WHIP in 3 interleague starts this season. German Marquez will take the mound for Colorado and he's got a strong 3.22 ERA and 1.045 WHIP in 11 road starts and a 1.98 ERA and 0.805 WHIP in 2 interleague appearances. Give me the UNDER 7!

Play on: Angels -102 at YouWager

DMack's Free Play for Tuesday, August 14, 2018 is on the Angels (Barria Listed)
This is a battle of two teams that are clearly playing out the string, the Halos 2-6 in their L8 road games while the Padres are 6-12 L18 overall. The Angel's Barria looks like he might be worth a look here as he's 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA in his L3. The Padres Brett Kennedy was beat up pretty good by the Brewers in his debut, throwing 87 pitches in four innings while allowing six earned runs. The Angels without question miss Trout but are playing hard with what they have in Mike Scioscia's likely send off. Take the Angels.

1* Free Sharp Play on Rockies vs Astros under 7 +106
My money is on the UNDER 7 when the Astros host the Rockies. Colorado will be up against one of the best pitchers in the game in Houston's Justin Verlander, who is sitting with a 2.50 ERA and 0.909 WHIP in 25 starts. The Rockies will counter with German Marquez, who has been a completely different pitcher when he's not forced to start at Coors Field. Marquez has a 4.76 ERA overall in 23 starts, but owns a strong 3.22 ERA and 1.045 WHIP in 11 road starts. He's picking a good time to face Houston, as the Astros have scored 3 or fewer in 3 straight and 6 of their last 7 overall. Bet the UNDER 7!

#MLB FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN
The LA Angels have won five of their last seven following a 6-3 triumph in the opener of this three-game series with the San Diego Padres yesterday. I like the Friars to even the series with a win here Tuesday night.
San Diego righty Brett Kennedy (0-1, 13.50 ERA) was lit up for six runs and 11 hits over four innings against Milwaukee in his major-league debut, but keep in mind that the 23 year old was an outstanding 10-0 with a 2.72 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 16 starts at Triple-A El Paso prior to his promotion to the big leagues. I expect his nerves to have settled by now and that we'll see a much more composed performance tonight.
The Halos hand the ball to rookie right-hander Jaime Barria (7-7, 3.59 ERA) who is in a letdown spot after pitching 5 2/3 scoreless innings against Detroit his last time out. We can also note that he's 1-2 on the road with a 6.35 ERA in his first three outings against National League teams.
Free pick on San Diego Padres.

                        Joe Williams

League Betting Notes (Tuesday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 12)

-- Favorites went 13-5 straight up (SU)
-- Favorites went 11-7 against the spread (ATS)
-- Home teams went 10-8 SU
-- Home teams went 10-8 ATS
                        -- The 'over' went 10-6-2

                        Team Betting Notes

-- Atlanta (22-10) has opened up a two-game lead in the Eastern Conference with just two regular season games remaining, but those two games are difficult road contests to finish the season. The Dream are on fire heading into the final week of the regular season, going 6-0 ATS over the past six outings, and 14-1 ATS across the past 15 contests.

-- Chicago (11-20) has put up a little bit better of a fight down the stretch, but they still have lost more than they're winning. They're a respectable 4-2 ATS over the past six outings, and the 'under' is 4-1 in the past five, so the Sky can still be helpful at the betting window.

-- Connecticut (18-13) split a home-and-home with the Sky this past week, and the 'under' on Sunday pumped the brakes on a 4-0 'over' run. The Sun have caught fire at the right time, winning six of their past seven games overall while going 5-2 ATS across the past seven.

-- The freefall continues for Dallas (14-17), as the Wings have dropped eight in a row at the most inopportune time. For a while back in mid-July the Wings appeared to not only be a playoff team, but one who could do some damage once they got there. Now, there are just three games remaining against playoff hopefuls, and the best they can do is a .500 record. The 'under' has hit in five of their past seven outings.

-- Indiana (5-26) had shown some signs of life earlier in the month, but they took it on the chin in three straight this past week while going 0-3 ATS. The defensive woes were back, as the opposition dumped in 93.3 points per game (PPG) in the three-game slide with the 'over' going 1-0-2.

-- Las Vegas (13-17) ended a four-game slide, and five if you could their forfeit from the travel woes to D.C., pounding the Fever into submission on Aug. 11. The cover also snapped an 0-4 ATS skid. Two of their final three regular season battles will be against Eastern Conference foes.

-- Los Angeles (18-13) looked like they had it trending in the right direction, but they dropped back-to-back games in Atlanta and Phoenix (18-14) to create more questions than answers heading into the final regular season week. The Sparks enter Tuesday's game against New York (7-23) on an 0-4 ATS run.

-- Minnesota (17-14) just can't seem to piece together a lengthy win streak anymore. And they're 2-5 ATS over the past seven outings. Total bettors are loving them at the window right now, however, as the 'under' has hit in six straight, and 12 of the past 13.

-- The Liberty are just playing out the string, dropping nine in a row heading into the final week. Continue to fade the Liberty if you want to make some bread, as they're just 2-7 ATS across the past nine outings. The 'over' is also an impressive 8-2 over their past 10.

-- Phoenix (18-14) has won back-to-back games for the first time since a four-game winning streak June 26-July 5. That's uncharacteristic for the Merc. They are a solid 4-1 ATS over the past five outings, so perhaps they're kicking it into high gear at just the right time. A showdown against the Dream on Friday will be a good measuring stick test.

-- Seattle (24-8) recovered nicely from a 100-77 beating in D.C. to top the Lynx 81-72 in the Twin Cities over the weekend. The Storm maintain the best record in the WNBA, and they can clinch home-court advantage in the playoffs with a win against either New York or Dallas in one of the final two regular-season battles. The Storm are an impressive 6-1 ATS over the past seven outings, and 13-3-1 ATS over the past 17.

-- Washington (19-11) is closing the season well, but they can't seem to make up any distance on the equally red-hot Dream. The Mystics have won five in a row, and six if you include their forfeit victory against the Aces. Washington has also covered three in a row, which ties their longest cover streak since they went 4-0 ATS from May 24-30.
