2-Unit Play. Take #957 San Francisco (-145) over Cincinnati (7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18)
Yes, I will take Madison Bumgarner against one of the worst teams in the Majors. This is a solid price on Bumgarner here and I see the Giants getting even in this series after an extra inning loss last night. Bumgarner has just a 2.71 ERA since coming back from injury and hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in his last four starts. Matt Harvey has been trash all season and I think he'll get knocked around again today.
1-Unit Play. Take #979 L.A. Dodgers (-135) over Seattle (10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18)
The Dodgers bombed the Mariners last night and right now Seattle is sinking like a stone. They are just 12-18 in their last 30 games and they have now lost three of four. I don't think that Erasmo Ramirez is the answer to anything here. He was good in his last start on Aug. 12, which was his first start since April. Crafty lefty Rich Hill is on the mound for the Dodgers and he has posted a quality start in four of his last five games. I think the Dodgers are back on the upswing and I think they will get this win.
