In the last 6 meetings these two have went over the total 5-0-1, and last night was another over with a 6-3 win by Seattle. Both pitchers today have over a 4 ERA, Robbie Ray for the D Backs and LeBlanc for Seattle. The Mariners have struggled against southpaws but Ray is hittable and has a 1.64 WHIP his last 3 starts. AZ looks for some revenge here and in their last 10 games have hit lefties as a team at .321. Both starters are left handed. I see a 6-4, or higher type game here with AZ on top, too chalky to get behind them but I do like some runs, and in Seattle's last 51 Interleague games, all but 14 have went over.Comment

7-Unit Play: Take 908 Brewers -120 over Pirates (7:10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25)
We're backing the Brewers on Saturday night with Chacin over Taillon. It's hard to imagine Pittsburgh being able to recover from Friday's incredible loss that included walking a relief pitcher, Jordan Lyles, to load the bases with one out away from a win. The Pirates tied it with two outs in the ninth and went ahead 6-4 in the top of the 15th, but then blew it in the bottom half when hard throwing Clay Holmes walked the bases loaded and then lost on consecutive singles by Erik Kratz and Orlando Arcia. Pittsburgh lost its fourth in a row and is fading fast in the playoff race while Milwaukee has won four of five and currently is in the second wild card spot. The Brewers have won seven of Jhoulys Chacin's last nine starts and he did not allow a run his last two starts in 13 innings pitched. Chacin has allowed only three earned runs in 17 2/3 innings against the Pirates this season. Both pens saw plenty of work last night and if this becomes a battle of the pens, the Brewers is better equiped to handle it. The Milwaukee jinx continues for the Pirates, who have lost 71 of the last 98 meetings at Miller Park. I'm backing the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.Comment
