They were one of the hottest teams in Baseball coming into that game and got hammered for a 1-11 score. Now, Gomber who has very little in Coors pitches for a Cards team that that is on the bounce-back. So, the Cards will likely bounce-back here against Anderson who has not been sharp and you have a newbie pitcher in Coors for the first time so he is likely to struggle too. Remembe, the Rockies are heavy favorites today and the public is on St. Louis but the reason why the Rockies are such favorites is because a young kid is making an appearance in Coors against a rival who is fighting them for the playoffs and that spells disaster for him. Plus, the Cards are on an offensive bounce-back after 1 run yesterday and haven't lost back to back games in ages. The Over is 12-5 for the Cardinals against a left handed pitcher and the Over is 4-1 for Anderson in his last 5 against NL Central opponents.

Phoenix is a good team and they have peaked lately but they have to come back down to earth because they don't do the little things well like defend off the screens and shoot the ball well. They have been playing over their heads for a while now and they struggle badly against strong defensive teams which Seattle is. Seattle sincerely believes they can win it all this year because a lot has worked to their favor - LA is old and out - Minnesota is old and out - Atlanta lost Angel, and that sets them up for a showdown with Washington eventually. This is the first of very important game for this team who will have a great home crowd and likely gets it done today.Comment
