MLB | Nationals vs Phillies
Play on: Phillies -124 at BMaker
ASA FREE PLAY on Philadelphia Phillies Money Line (-) over Washington Nationals, Tuesday at 7:05 PM ET (Game 2 of DH)
The Phillies moved back Jake Arrieta to start the 2nd game of their double header with the Nationals Tuesday and we like the line value here with Philadelphia as a small home favorite. The Nationals are going with Tanner Roark and they have lost each of his last 3 starts. Also, they have lost 6 of his last 9 road starts. Roark has given up 10 earned runs in the 11 innings spanning his last two starts. The Phillies are 8-4 in the last 12 home starts Arrieta has made. Also, the Phillies right-hander has allowed 3 earned runs or less in 10 of his 13 home starts this season. Overall, the Phillies have won 8 of his 12 starts since July 1st. The Phillies are 16-7 as a home fave in a range of -125 to -175 this season. Washington is 14-21 in their last 35 games against teams with a winning record. We expect these trends to continue in Philly Tuesday evening. ASA FREE PLAY: Bet Philadelphia as a small home fave on the money line in Game Two of their double header Tuesday.

MLB | Blue Jays vs Red Sox
Play on: Blue Jays +1½ +145 at MyBookie
Chris Sale leads the American League in ERA and WHIP. It's understandable he opened a 3-to-1 home favorite against the rebuilding Blue Jays and rookie starter Ryan Borucki. But here's why I want to take a shot with the Blue Jays at this monster plus price: Sale has thrown the grand total of five innings since July 27. Not only is Sale going to be rusty, but the Red Sox are going to be super cautious with him. Boston's plan is to limit Sale to 40 pitches than replacing him with Nathan Eovaldi. Eovaldi has given up 12 earned runs in his last four appearances spanning 14 2/3 innings. During this time frame, Eovaldi has yielded 23 hits and five walks. He would not be a 3-to-1 favorite if he were starting this game. So I believe there is real value to taking the Blue Jays and as a hedge I'm going to play them on the run line where they are getting 1 1/2 runs yet still are a big 'dog. Boston would be 0-4 in its last four games if laying 1 1/2 runs. Borucki has turned in eight quality outings in his last 13 starts. He held the Rays to two runs on three hits in six innings during his previous start this past Tuesday. Toronto hasn't been playing bad either going 10-9 in its last 19 games. The Blue Jays are coming off a 2-2 split against the Indians this past weekend.

MLB | Dodgers vs Reds
Play on: Dodgers -164 at 5Dimes
My free play is on the LA Dodgers at 6:40 ET. The Dodgers have won the NL West the previous five seasons and made a strong push during a recent two-week stretch (Los Angeles won eight of nine from Aug 24 thru Sep 2 to turn a 4 1/2-game deficit in the West to a one-half game edge) in an effort to win a sixth straight division title. However, the team's up-and-down play over the last week (LA is 3-4 since Sep 3) hasn't much helped LA's cause. The 78-66 Dodgers fell 1 1/2 games behind the Rockies after falling behind by four runs in the first inning en route to a 10-6 setback in the series opener of a three-game set in Cincinnati on Monday. The victory was the Reds' third in their last four but Cincy had gone 3-12 over their previous 15 contests, prior to the team's current mini-run.
Hyun-Jin Ryu (4-2, 2.16 ERA) gets the nod for LA on Tuesday. Ryu gave up five runs (but just one earned) on 10 hits to the Mets while striking out eight over six innings in a 7-3 loss this past Wednesday. The lefty has made a modest 11 starts in 2018 (team is 7-4) and is 3-1 with a 4.30 ERA in five career starts vs Cincinnati. The Reds' Luis Castillo (8-12, 4.79 ERA)
was unable to follow up a dominant 11-strikeout performance against St. Louis on Sep 1, as he surrendered a career-high three HRs among the five runs (two earned) he allowed across five innings in a 6-2 loss to San Diego this past Thursday.
While the Reds are just 62-83 (22 games back of the Cubs in the NL Central), Monday's win improved their record to 5-0 against the Dodgers this season (note: Cincinnati has won each game with Los Angeles this season by at least two runs). Surprisingly, Los Angeles has a losing record against two of the NL's three last-place clubs, the Reds (0-5) and the Miami Marlins (2-4). The good news is, LA's Ryu has pitched well when he's made it to the mound (an ongoing problem with a groin injury sidelined him from May 2 until August 15) with a 2.16 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and .219 BAA. Meanwhile, since Castillo beat the Cardinals 4-0 win on Sep 1, he's given up 10 runs (seven earned) over 8 1/3 innings in losses to the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres (7.56 ERA). I'll play LA.

MLB | Rockies vs Diamondbacks
Play on: Diamondbacks -119 at pinnacle
DMack's Free MLB Play for Tuesday, September 11, 2018 is on the Arizona DBacks (Greinke Listed)
Betting teams to win because they have to win is a surefire road to disaster in all sports but "urgency" certainly plays a part in our play here. The Snakes have lost 8 of 10 and are playing themselves out of the NL West. They trail the Dodgers and Rockies by 2.5/3.5 games and are on the outside looking in at the wildcard. Division game here against a team they trail in the standings at home with "ace" Zack Greinke on the mound. Greinke is 11-5 LT against the Rockies and just two-hit them over eight innings in 6-1 win July 22. Take the Snakes.

MLB | OAK vs BAL
Play on: OVER 9 -105
1* Free Sharp Play on A's vs Orioles over 9 -105
My money is on the OVER 9 in Tuesday's MLB action between the Orioles and A's. Oakland's offense has been on an absolute tear of late. The A's have scored at least 7 runs in 4 straight and have hit at least 6 runs in 8 of their last 9 games. Good chance they keep it rolling here against the Orioles Alex Cobb, who is a miserable 0-7 with a 5.10 ERA and 1.416 WHIP in 10 home starts. Baltimore should be able to contribute a few runs of their own, as the A's Michael Fiers has struggled of late with a 4.69 ERA and 1.304 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Bet the OVER 9!
Fp: Roark has been has cold as of late going 0-3 last 3 starts with a era around 4 . One win starts a streak one loss starts a slump and Roark is slumping . Take the Phillies at home on the money line for my mlb free pick !
