8-Unit Play. #965. Take Over 9 Runs Texas vs. Seattle (Thursday @ 10:10pm est)
We roll with the Over here between these two teams in what is likely to be a game that is going to have plenty of runs similar to the 4* Winner yesterday on the Dodgers/Dbacks Over that we had which cashed in the 5th inning. Remember, Jurado just faced this Seattle team and gave up 2 runs in 5 innings and now has to immediatley face them again which is going to be difficult. Prior to that Seattle start, he had given up 11 hits and 8 runs in about 5 innings and we just don't think he likely puts up back to back quality starts here. Plus, though he has pitched well at home he has nearly a 8 era on the road which will likely come into play as Texas faces a Seattle team that just lost 3-9 and is going to be motivated to do well today. On top of that, you have an angry Texas team that just got swept facin Gonzalez who held them to 1 hit in 6 innings the last time he faced them and won that game 13-0 and Texas will undoubtedly have some revenge as they face him again in a relative short span of time. Gonzalez has given up 22 hits in 15 innings and 13 runs at home in that span and we like this game to be likely a high scoring affair today. The Over is 5-1 for Gonzalez against the AL West and the Over is also 5-1 in Jurdao's last 6 starts overall as well for Texas.
For Thursday, Top-Rated 1000♦ is the Minnesota Vikings over the L.A. Rams.At 8:45 am eastern, the Vikes are +7 points in Vegas and offshore. Note: I advise buying the half-point up on Minny if the price you get is either +6 1/2 or +7 points.
I have heard about "look ahead" games, but Minnesota's stunning 27-6 loss at home to Buffalo on Sunday pretty much takes the cake. It also makes tonight's game against the Rams in Los Angeles appear to be almost a "Sure Thing" for the L.A. backers.
I mean, the home team under the Thursday lights this year is already off to a 3-0 start both straight up and against the spread, and the home team Rams are already off to a 3-0 start both straight up and against the spread, winning by double-digits in all 3 games!!!! Hard to go against the Rams, that is for sure.
Kirk Cousins and his briefcase full of guaranteed money looked about as bad as a QB could look on Sunday, and the fact Dalvin Cook was sidelined with a hamstring injury certainly didn't help matters. Cook is expected to be back in uniform for this game, and I would also expect Cousins to want to get back on the field as soon possible for a shot at redemption.
Cousins should also benefit from the fact the Rams have a pair of secondary injuries to Peters and Talib.
The Vikings were also dealing with the distraction of Everson Griffen and his run in with the law last weekend. That issue was fresh prior to Sunday's game, but is now at least "settled" for this game, as Griffen is out.
All of that being said, I am going to look for the Vikings plus the points to at least cover this contest. Minnesota is 21-9 against the spread as an underdog since Mike Zimmer took over 5 years ago. Minnesota also handed Los Angeles a loss last year at US Bank Stadium, 24-7 when the Rams were 7-2 on the season and looking like world beaters.
Listen, I cannot find much fault with what Sean McVay and his team have done this season - they truly are a beast right now - but the fact that they are "only" favored by right are a touchdown surely tells me that the oddsmakers are also willing to give the Vikings a "mulligan" for Sunday's shocking loss.
I am taking the Vikings plus the points in this one boys!
Thursday night 6* NFC Total of the Month from a 15-0 Totals system headlines along with the ESPN College System play and MLB Total of the Week. MLB Comp play below
The MLB Comp play is on the Pirates at 8:05 eastern. Pittsburgh is playing hard and has done well here in Chicago this season. They fit a late season road dog system and have T. Williams on the mound. Williams has shut down Chicago allowing 2 runs in 13 innings this season. He has better road numbers than Chicago lefty Lester. Look for pittsburgh to take the finale. On Thursday we have a rare 6* Total in the NFL from an undefeated totals system that is 15-0 since 1998. The NFC Total of the Month headlines along with a power system in the ESPN ACC Game and the MLB Total of the Week. Message or see our group on facebook to jump on. For the MLB Comp play.
