Monday night football headlines tonight and we have a perfect system that dates to 1991. N.L West tie breaker below.
The MLB Power system Play is on the LA. Dodgers at 4:05 Eastern on ESPN. The Dodgers vs the Rockies with the winner claiming the N.L. West. The Dodgers have taken 6 of 9 at home vs Colorado. The Rockies are 0-5 in the road off a home win scoring 10 or more runs. In fact road dogs of 140 or higher that are off a home favored win by 5+ runs scoring 10 or more runs are 0-4 since 2004. Home favorites of 140 or more like LA that are off a -200 or higher road favored win scoring 10 or more re undefeated since 2004. Buehler for LA has allowed 2 or less earned runs in 10 of his last 11 starts and is 4-1 in day games. The Rockies have won the last 3 here with Marquez pitching. However this ones for all the marbled and we think LA. Gets it done. On Monday the MLB Perfect system play in the NFL is up after another big weekend in football. Broncos +3.5 over Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes has been on fire this year, but are we seeing or are we looking? The Chiefs couldn’t have asked for three teams that are as brutal on defense as they drew in the first three weeks. I am not taking anyway thing away from Mahomes who will be a star in this league. This is a guy with 4 NFL starts under his belt that tonight will play in the loudest and most physical environment he has ever seen. Mahomes did start here in Denver on Week 17 last year against a Denver team that was done for the year and most of the fans didn’t bother to show up. Tonight Mahomes is in his first true prime time test as a pro in a crucial early season divisional game. You have heard this saying before. Can a team run the ball and can a team play defense? The Broncos can do both and at home are going to be a tough out. The odds of Mahomes not turning the ball over against this defense is not on his side. Could he be a little too over confident and force some easy INTs? We will find out. This is one of those plays that you tip your hat to the guy and accept the loss like a humble educated sports gambler. If this young QB can put together 4 quarters early in his career on a monday night, in a divisional game and do so against fierce pass rushers coming for him on all different angles, then so be it. Prove us wrong Patrick. Take the Broncos.
