We like the more disciplined team here in the Vikings to get it done as after back to back wins the Jets come back down to earth here. This is a Vikings team that did not play well last week frankly and this is the type of game that is best suited for them. They have a defense that is getting better, an offense that is coming together and as they sit at 3-2, this is the absolute type of game that this team needs to win to move to 4-2 in their competitive division. We simply think the Jets have a let down here and the Vikings likely get it done here given their consistency. They have to play their best football and it might be here as the Jets lay an egg.

Don't let this game confuse you too much. The Niners are going to be so hungover from the near win on MNF against the Packers and the fact that they let that game slip is going to haung them. The Rams did not play well last week against the Broncos and frankly have not played that well the last few weeks including barely beating the Seahawks. They are absolutely primed here for a blowout win against a team here that lost to Arizona at home. Don't let the Niners fool you here, they come back down to earth in a big way and the Rams steamroll the Niners here. We like the Rams to win and win big here.Comment

Bucs -3.5 over Browns
The Bucs had enough of Mike Smith and fired him as the defensive coordinator. To make matters worse they are without 2 starters on the defensive line. Here is the good news. The Browns have not won a road game for years and they just traded away Carlos Hyde who was the leader on the team in touchdowns. The Browns drop too many balls and in the red zone seem to always settle for field goals. This offense and defense are coming off their worst performance of the year last week. Baker Mayfield is still a QB that is learning how to play in the NFL. The Bucs have great receivers and can put up points in a hurry. I just don’t think the Browns are going to match the Bucs on the road today. This is the best opponent Tampa could have drawn after firing Mike Smith. It won’t be pretty, but over the course of 60 mins Cleveland won’t be able to put up enough clean touchdown drives to keep up. Take the Bucs.

Bills/Colts Over 43
The Bills decide to bring in Derek Anderson who has not played football in a long time instead of going with backup Nathan Peterman. I think this is a mistake because this Colts Defense is very bad. The only advantage they have will be a QB playing with rust and not up to game speed. If Peterman starts I think the Bills could win this game with their running attack and defense. The Colts are starting to get a few key players back like Hilton, Mack and on the offensive line Anthony Castonzo, but still are a long way from being competitive. Indy with all the injuries have shown heart which I really like and Luck has been great considering he is so short-handed. I think the Bills will be able to move the football against this poor defense and I think the Colts are going to have so many possessions that the Bills won’t be able to stop Luck inside the dome in perfect conditions. We might get a few Pick 6 touchdowns which would be great for a high scoring game. The only decision I question is Buffalo having Peterman on the roster. If you don’t have confidence in him then trade him. Remember guys, the Jets with a rookie QB scored on 8 straight drives last week against this Colts team. Take the Over.

Jaguars -4 over Texans
The Jags stink on the road, but they are a totally different team at home. Last year Jacksonville crushed Houston in this building and today have the luxury of facing this defense that could be starting their 5th and 6th string options at cornerback with no depth. I look for the Jags to have a huge bounce back game with Keelan Cole going off at receiver. Deshaun Watson throws too many picks for my liking. This is still a great Jacksonville Defense and at home in a must win situation I believe they get back on track. Blake Bortles really needs a bounce back game and I believe this secondary issue for the Texans on Defense is a gift from above for him. He must take advantage. Take the Jags.

Rams -9.5 over 49ers
The Rams are the best team in the NFC and maybe the NFL. This is an offense that doesn’t use many players, they let you know what they are doing and still teams can’t stop them. The 49ers just don’t have the secondary to stop this air raid attack and they won’t be able to slow down Gurley and Brown running the ball. We saw a 49ers team with heart on MNF against a poor Packers team. This 49ers will not be allowed to do the things they did the other night. This is a San Francisco team that is playing way too many backups and dealing with way too many injuries to be on the same field with this LA team today. Take the Rams.Comment
