Rotation #713-714 Mavs +7.5 over Lakers Both teams are very similar. Neither team is any good on defense and the both will jack up a ton of three pointers. Wins come down to hitting a high percentage of the three pointers. I don’t think the Lakers should be big favorites like this especially since the guard play between Doncic and Smith have been fantastic for the Mavs. This game will be close and entertaining. Take Dallas.
For Wednesday, Raise The Bar 1500♦ is Toledo at home against Ball State. At 9:00 am eastern, the Rockets are -18 1/2 points in Vegas and offshore.
This one comes down to quarterback play, and with the Cardinals starter Riley Neal watching from the sideline, the combination of a back-up signal-caller who will not be able to move the chains with consistency, coupled with the consistent leaky Cardinals defense - a whopping 94 points allowed in their last 2 games, both of them SU and ATS setbacks - will lead to a 3 TD Rockets win on Halloween night at the Glass Bowl.
True, the Rockets have an injured QB as well, as Mitch Gaudagni left last week's underdog outright win at Western Michigan with a throwing shoulder injury, but backup Eli Peters is more than capable as he showed in last week's work in relief of Gaudagni.
The last 4 series meetings have all gone in favor of Toledo, and all 4 have been decided by double-digit margins. That includes last year's 58-17 romp at Muncie when the Rockets gained over 300 yards on the ground alone.
Toledo can run the ball this season as well, averaging at 5 yards per rush, and Ball State still has trouble defending the run. That's not a good combination if you are a Cardinals fan. Throw in Ball's 2-6 road spread mark their last 8, and you can see why this price is up there at 18 1/2 points.
The Rockets have been a great play when facing teams with a losing ledger, as they 11-4 against the spread their last 15 in that situation.
Eat the chalk tonight, and play Toledo to take it by 21-points!
6-Unit Play. #705. Take Indiana Pacers -5.5 over New York Knicks (Wednesday @ 8:05pm est)
We roll with the Pacers here as they come off a very low output of 93 points against a good Blazers defense last game. Oladipo mentioned that they just missed wide open shots as a team and they will want to bounce-back here. For a team that has not won in MSG since 2016, they will be highly motivated and focused coming into today as they come off one of their worst offensive performances after averaging 117 points per game the previous two games .We like Indiana to get it done here with strong focus as they bounce-back nicely and remember the Knicks come off a rare win so they are likely in for a let down here after beating the Nets.
3-Unit Play. #707. Take the Utah Jazz -5.5 over the Minnesota Timberwolves (Wednesday @ 8:05pm est)
Horrible spot here for the TWolves beating the Lakers in unparalleled shooting for them and then now facing the Jazz and their strong defense with the Warriors on deck. The Jazz take this game from start to finish here as the Twolves have a bit let down here.
3-Unit Play. #711. Take San Antonio Spurs -7 over the Phoenix Suns (Wednesday @ 10:35pm est)
The Spurs are getting very good on the defensive side of the ball and it is not going unnoticed by us and as the Suns return home with still no Booker playing, look for San Antonio and their consistency to keep it rolling with a big win here as the Spurs are getting a nice mojo with young and veteran players who were former starters contributing a lot off the bench
