1-Unit Play. Take #726 Pittsburgh (-5.5) over Troy (7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)

Pittsburgh is still pretty awful. But they are playing with a chip on their shoulder this year because of how embarrassing they were last season. Jeff Capel is looking to get off to a solid start with his new team and that means not losing to weak Sun Belt teams. Troy put up a game effort against St. Louis. But I don't think that they will be able to scum out a loss/cover in this one.

1-Unit Play. Take #727 Oklahoma (-8.5) over UT-San Antonio (8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)
I'm a little higher on the Sooners this year than some other people. Lon Kruger is a fantastic coach and he is going to get the most out of his team. No, they don't have Trae Young. But I think their chemistry will be better without him. Jhivvan Jackson, UT-San Antonio's best player (by far) is still recovering from ACL surgery and he won't be available. And without their top gun I don't think UTSA will be able to keep up here

1-Unit Play. Take #730 Texas (-20) over UL-Monroe (8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)
Texas should be able to physically overwhelm a rebuilding UL-Monroe team. UL-Monroe has one good player, Travis Munnings, and then a bunch of JUCO transfers.That's not going to be enough and Texas should be able to pick its score here.

2-Unit Play. Take #736 Duquesne (-5.5) over Illinois-Chicago (8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)
I'm still going to keep fading Illinois-Chicago. This is one of the worst programs in the country and they lost their two best players. Duquesne blew out a better William & Mary team in the opener. And I think that Ketih Dambrot is going to be able to build a little momentum here with another big win.

1-Unit Play. Take #742 Washington (-9.5) over San Diego (11 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)

I think that Washington can bounce back from their embarrassing effort at Auburn over the weekend. Everything that could go wrong, did, in that game and Auburn played out of their mind. I think John Hopkins will get his team back on the right track with a blowout home win here.

1-Unit Play. Take #754 Belmont (-8.5) over Middle Tennessee (8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12)
Middle Tennessee State is going through a major transition. They have a new coach and lost their entire starting five. This simply isn't the same team as last year. Belmont hammered a really good Illinois State team over the weekend. They are going to play and to shoot with more confidence in their own gym so I think they can put together another double-digit win here.

2-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #727 Oklahoma (-3.5) over UT-San Antonio (8 p.m.) AND Take #742 Washington (-4.5) over San Diego (11 p.m.)
