I have watched Chicago numerous times since the coaching change. They now have the youngest coach in the NHL and it is evident the players are still trying to adjust to his systems. Players have been out of position and made numerous mistakes that have cost Chicago in terms of odd man rushes going the other way and open looks at the net. This is normal when a team is going through a coaching change but the process is even more painful when you're talking about a non-veteran NHL coach. This is a divisional game so St Louis will be fully focused on this match-up with the Blackhawks. This is particularly true because they lost their earlier visit to Chicago last month. The Blues are off a loss and St Louis is 3-1 since mid-October when off a loss. The Blackhawks are hungry to avoid losing a 9th straight game but the Blues will show no mercy after losing versus Minnesota despite a 30-18 edge in shots on goal. St Louis has a huge edge in special teams here as they have the much better power play and have also been better than Chicago has on the penalty kill this season. The Blues have won 47 of their last 76 games against teams with a losing record. Winless in eight games and still looking to get their new coach his first victory, the Hawks are going to be a highly motivated team this evening. The Blues, on the other hand, may already have their upcoming trip to Vegas on the back of their minds. Expect the Hawks to be the "hungrier" team and that to lead to a badly needed victory. The 10-3 Milwaukee Bucks trail only the 12-2 Toronto Raptors in the East and the 12-3 Golden State Warriors (Western Conference) in the 'race' for the NBA's best record. The Bucks are coming off a a 121-114 win at Denver on Sunday that closed out a four-game West Coast road trip in which the team went 2-2. Center Brook Lopez scored a game-high 28 points and matched an NBA record for a seven-footer by making eight, three-pointers. The 7-5 Memphis Grizzlies will play four of their next six games on the road, after suffering their first home loss of the season, 96-88 to the Utah Jazz on Monday.
Memphis is trying to fight on despite a rash of early-season injuries. JaMychal Green suffered a broken jaw in Memphis' second game of the season while Chandler Parsons and Omri Casspi have been limited so far with sore knees. The Grizzlies suffered another hit Monday night, when Dillon Brooks suffered a sprained MCL over the weekend. Brooks' injury left head coach J.B. Bickerstaff with only eight available players Monday night.
The Bucks went just 2-2 on their West Coast trip but the wins came over 12-3 Golden State and Denver (opened 9-1, before losing four straight). Giannis Antetokounmpo
shot 58 percent on the road trip and is averaging 25.4 points, 13 rebounds and 5.8 assists on the season. Milwaukee's other four starters are all averaging in double digits, allowing the Bucks to lead the NBA in scoring at 121.6 PPG (Golden St, who?)
Memphis averages about 20 PPG fewer than Milwaukee (101.8 PPG ranks 29th) and that average falls to 96.3 points on the road. However, Memphis does lead the NBA in allowing just 100.7 PPG. However, Milwaukee is a perfect 6-0 SU at home (5-0-1 ATS), averaging 124.7 PPG, winning by an average of 19.1 PPG. Lay the points.

I'll take my chances here with New Orleans as a short road dog against the Timberwolves. Minnesota won their first game after trading Jimmy Butler 120-113 at home over the Nets. Towns had a huge game with a 20-20 performance, but Minnesota shot 53% from the field and held Brooklyn to just 39.6%. I'm just not buying the win as a sign that the Wolves are fixed after the trade. Now they got to adjust their rotations even more with the additions of Covington and Saric. New Orleans has won 3 straight after losing 6 in a row and were all business in a 126-110 win at Toronto as a 9.5-point dog last time out. They are simply the much better team and it would be an added bonus here if either Mirotic or Payton returns from injury. Give me the Pelicans +1.5!

That bodes well for the Spurs covering this 5-point spread when you factor in that the Spurs have gone 14-1 in their last 15 meetings with the Suns as well.
