Tuesday's College Basketball Plays
6-Unit Play. #510 Take Charleston (-1.5) over Rhode Island (7 p.m., Tuesday, November 13)
No mid-major had a better run these past two years than the Rams. Rhode Island reached the Round of 32 last year in the NCAA Tournament, but right now its what have you done for me lately. Gone is their head coach to UConn. Also out the door are some of the program's best players such as EC Matthews and Jared Terrell. I simply do not think this team has the current players to avoid a massive transition year. Just the opposite for Charleston, who is the class of the CAA and a real mid-major threat themselves this season. After two unimpressive wins to begin the year against below average talent, look for a breakout performance here to really kickstart the Cougars' season. CoC has two dynamic scorers in Grant Riller and Jared Brantley. The two combined for over 35 ppg last year, and this season they'll be even better. Big win here for Charleston behind their top two players.
3-Unit Play. #513 Take Memphis (+10.5) over LSU (7 p.m., Tuesday, November 13)
Both teams have expectations this year. And while LSU's ceiling may be higher right now, I think its a bit too early to expect this unproven team to bust out of the gate. That being said, there is value on the points here with a live underdog in Memphis who will expect to battle for an outright win. Whether they get it not so important, but I do see Penny Hardaway's team keeping this one close all the way through.
3-Unit Play. #520 Take Temple (-4) over Georgia (7 p.m., Tuesday, November 13)
Temple is a tough out every game this program plays. That's just kind of how they are wired. Georgia went through a long spell of underachieving with the likes of SEC top talent Yante Maten. And so now without him I don't think they'll be much better. Par for the course. Tom Crean will likely have to pace himself this year to set-up for future runs. The Owls see the current campaign as one they are ready to excel in. Shizz Alston and Quinton Rose are as good a starting backcourt as you'll see this year from a non power conference program. Lay the modest number with the home side in this one.

Rotation #511-512
George Mason +5 over Georgia Southern
George Mason returns the entire team from last year.* In College Basketball this is very rare.* In the game last year Georgia Southern won this match up away from home as George Mason shot the ball very poorly and turned the ball over 20+ times.* Georgia Southern lost a lot of their front court from last year so I expect George Mason to get revenge tonight.* The Patriots are off to an 0-2 start this season which must be frustrating for a veteran team.* I believe tonight they will put together a big game and get their first win of the season.**Take George Mason +5.* (ML +180 if you feel like it)

Rotation #531-532
Tennessee -16 over Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech was not a very good team last year and has since lost their top three scorers and top three rebounders.* Tennessee is as stacked as a team could be and their end goal is a deep run in tournament this year.* The talent and physical gap is huge in this game.* Georgia Tech just doesn’t have the man power to keep up tonight.**Take Tennessee.Comment
