Richmond has a very good 1-2-3 punch with Golden, Sherod and Gilyard who can all score in double digits.* This is an experienced basketball team that looked much better in their last game after an opening loss head shaker to Longwood.* IUPUI had a great signature win against Boston College, but I don’t think they have the talent to make a habit of big time wins against better conference competition.* The Spiders won’t lose focus after what happen to them in Game 1 this year.**Take Richmond.Comment

Tonight Jimmy Butler makes his Philadelphia debut, it’s actually his second game with Philadelphia but its his Home debut. The knee jerk reaction is to grab Philly especially off of Utah’s last game where they were beat 118-68 by Dallas. Guys I have said it over and over no one is as good as their best game nor are they as bad as their worst game. Utah couldn’t of played a worst game and once it was out of hand the starters got pulled as everyone played just 20-25 mins. With that said we will see a big time effort from Utah tonight off of the embarrassing loss. Utah is a good defensive team and when they come focused tonight they will cause problems for Philadelphia who will be better with Jimmy Butler but that won’t happen till the team learns how to put the pieces of this new line up together. The team has to gel and find it’s chemistry and that will take a few games. So with a focused Utah off an embarrassing loss, and an inflated line because of that loss along with the Jimmy Butler excitement we are taking Utah here. My numbers have Utah winning by 3-5 points.
