4 Unit Play. Take #325 Wisconsin Badgers +4.5 over Purdue Boilermakers (3:30pm, Saturday, November 17 BTN) Purdue likely has a coach out the door and neither team has a chance to win the Big 10 West after losing last week. Wisconsin struggles to throw the football, but they still have a defense and a running attack. That will allow them to keep the game close and getting this many points is too good to pass up.
3 Unit Play. Take #328 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -5 over Virginia Cavaliers (3:30pm, Saturday, November 17 ACCN) Tech has been rolling of late with three straight dominating wins. The scores in the last two games are not indictive of how dominating they have been. Paul Johnson seems to always do enough to avoid a pink slip and they should be able to win this game by double digits. The home team has won 16 of the last 20 meetings and are on a 15-3 ATS (1 push) run as well.
3 Unit Play. Take #330 Minnesota Golden Gophers -2 over Northwestern Wildcats (12pm, Saturday, November 17 BTN) The Wildcats have clinched a berth in the Big 10 Championship Game in two weeks, but they are not as good as their conference record would indicate. Minnesota is coming off their best game of the year and this is a must win game in order to clinch a bowl berth. Minnesota has covered the spread against Northwestern 6 of the last 9 meetings (3-1 in Minneapolis).
2 Unit Play. Take #350 Maryland Terrapins +14.5 over Ohio State Buckeyes (12pm, Saturday, November 17 ABC) Ohio State has not looked good in recent weeks, and this is a classic look-ahead situation with a winner-take-all game on deck against Michigan. Ohio State won last week against Michigan State, 26-6, but that score is very misleading as Michigan State self-destructed in the second half. Maryland needs a victory in their last two games to become bowl eligible. They will not accomplish that but would be able to keep this game around a 10-point deficit. Ohio State is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. Maryland is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss in their previous game.
4 Unit Play. Take #353 Cincinnati Bearcats +7.5 over UCF Golden Knights (8pm, Saturday, November 17 ABC) Both teams have explosive offenses, but the difference in this game will be the play of the Bearcat defense. If they can get a lead in this game and make UCF play from behind, they will win it straight-up. Cincinnati has the fifth-ranked defense in FBS, and UCF will finally have some resistance on offense. UCF is 2-8 ATS in their last 8 games played during the month of November. UCF will have their moments in this game, and there will be some points scored, but getting around a touchdown is just too good to pass up with Cincinnati.
7 Unit Play. Take #416 Nebraska Cornhuskers +1.5 over Michigan State Spartans (12pm, Saturday, November 17 FOX) TOP COLLEGE PLAY OF THE WEEKEND Nebraska is one of the most improved teams in the country, and they have a good chance to win their remaining two games on the schedule. They have been playing a home-heavy schedule of late, and this has allowed them to get healthy. Michigan State has a terrible offense, and I just do not believe they will be able to attack and score consistently on this suspect Husker defense. Nebraska has covered the spread in 5 straight games, including our top play a few weeks ago when they blew out Minnesota. This is just a classic case of two teams heading in different directions. QB Arian Martinez can play and will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come in this conference. Nebraska is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings with Michigan State (4-1 in Lincoln).Comment

7-Unit Play. #348. Take Kentucky -16 over Middle Tennessee State (Saturday @ 12pm est)
You are Kentucky and you come off a rare back to back losing games - the first time this year and now you face another 7-3 at home in Middle Tennessee State. Of course, you are going to get up for this team. Remember, MTSU is 96th in rush defense and what does Kentucky like to do? That's right, pound the ball. Kentucky in fact, that's all they do, they are top 50 in rushing and they are an elite top 20 defense. As they come off scoring 7 points against Tennessee, their worst output of the year, and this game being Senior Day as well, look for Kentucky to come out very focused from start to finish and get it done here. Kentucky does not lose 3 straight this season, they need an important bowl game to keep the program going and 9 wins will go a long way and we can see them putting the hammer down and just running the ball all day long here and the defense stepping up and winning by a score of around 35-14 this weekend.
6-Unit Play. #388. Take Mississippi State -21 over Arkansas (Saturday @ 12pm est)
We get the regional rivalry aspect of this, but don't forget Miss State just came off scoring 0 points against Alabama - and holding Alabama to 21 points, both of those items are motivating factors. This is also Coach Joe's first crack against a rival in Arkansas who comes off a great game against LSU - which means they are going to lay a massive egg here against an angry Mississippi State team. Arkansas has been playing over its head for sometime now and now they face a very angry and focused Miss State team here on the road and they will have all sorts of issues against this very disciplined and elite defense. State rolls this weekend.Comment

W.T.F. (Wrong Team Favored) Game of the Week
Nebraska (+2-) vs. Michigan State 12:00 PM ET
Looks like an easy lay for Bowl qualifier Michigan State at 6-4 SU vs. a 3-7 SU Nebraska team who could easily have “Tossed the Towel”. Current form, however, suggests otherwise and that this is a game in which it is the W.T.F. (Wrong Team Favored). The Michigan State rush defense has been solely responsible for the Spartans success. Clearly they have the better stop unit in this game by 17 points, 133 yards and 1.4 YPPL. The offense, however, has gone AWOL. That inability has, in no small part, been a function of QB Lewerke, who has completed just 37% of his passes with a 0/2 ratio in his L2G. Credit to Nebraska 1st year HC Frost for keeping the train on the tracks after an 0-6 SU start. The wheels could clearly have come off. Since that 0-4 ATS beginning, however, Nebraska has covered 5 straight vs. FBS opponents. Their offense has really clicked on this field where a balanced and explosive “200 Club” attack is averaging 38/541. Key to the success of this play is the fact we have a better “YPPL Dog” (30-14 ATS) making the W.T.F. (Wrong Team Favored).Comment
