TACKETT - As the only front runner in the race, I expect this gelding to be long gone. Just see his most recent figure, 80. That one looks good in this field. This animal is tops in earnings per start (EPS). He looks good in today's event. PLUMB LINE - Got an unlucky trip his 1st time out. Hitting the track today, should do better if he stays out of any potential problems. Look for this one to go straight to the finish line at some pretty good odds right here. Ran fifth in last race, but not more than five from the lead at the finish. Maiden is switching to the dirt, and may not have liked the turf last out. Has a good chance to break maiden.

He shouldn't improve and will probably get beat in today's race running that rating. GROVE DADDY - Based on the pace scenario in this contest, this animal doesn't fit in here. With a single front-runner and this animal having to race from behind, he sure has a tough assignment. Common speed figure last time out at Keeneland at 7 furlongs. Don't believe this racer will improve too much in today's event. AFLEET MOMENT - Didn't end up on the board on Sep 23rd at Churchill Downs. Followed it up with another lackluster try. Pace makes the race and the lack of pace means this sustainer will have to rally without any help.

Handicappers took note of this filly in her maiden race at Golden Gate Fields, sending her off at low odds. Look for a significant improvement right here in this race. Ranked the highest in (EPS) earnings per start. Another notice that this animal is the class of the race. BLUSHING BAY - The October 27th event at Golden Gate Fields was at a class level of (87). Dropping to a lower class rank drastically, so she should be in a good place.
