This is a very big bet for me. I don't release anything bigger than 5 unit in my emails but I play some of my 5 unit plays much larger than the regular big bet. I only do this only couple of times a year and most of the betting profit that i make each year is from these type of games. I have almost $150,000 riding on this game from lines ranging from -9.5 to -10.5. This doesn't mean that you should bet your life saving on this--bet only what you can afford to lose. To put into perspective in most 5 unit bets, i bet usually $15,000 to $20,000. My unit scale is not linear. I bet around $1k on 2 unit bets. 3 to 5k on 3 unit bets and 7 to 10k on 4 unit bets. The range comes down to the league/limits and how much the line moves as i bet. In most ncaa basketball totals, i bet lot less even if the play is strong due to low limits and the line moving too much.
