4-Unit Play. Take #517 Virginia Tech (-3) over Penn State (7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
I really like the Hokies in this one. But the spectre of Mike Watkins coming back for the Nittany Lions is enough to give me some pause. He's Penn State's best player, by far, and Virginia Tech doesn't have anyone on the roster that could slow the big man down. However, if Watkins doesn't play then I think that this one is going to be all Hokies. The Nittany Lions have been garbage this year. They lost to DePaul, who stinks, and lost to a decent Bradley team in an ugly game. They also should've lost at home to Jacksonville State. Virginia Tech, on the other hand, has been on fire. They are 5-0 SU and ATS and they have solid wins over Northeastern and Purdue, two better team than Penn State. This line is short and I think the Hokies will get this win.

1-Unit Play. Take #519 Michigan State (-5) over Louisville (7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
If Michigan State weren't coming off a weekend tournament this would be a bigger play. Chris Mack is doing what he can for right now. And he will be a great coach at Louisville. But this is clearly a rebuilding season for this team and they simply don't have the guns to take on top tier competition and expect to win too often. They won't get blown out here. But there is no doubt that Michigan State is the better team and they will find a way to beat this number in the second half.

4-Unit Play. Take #523 Nevada (-5) over Loyola-Chicago (8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
I know that everyone is still basking in the afterglow of Loyola's amazing Final Four run last year. But you know what: that was last year. This is still a really good team. And they are going to be sky high for this true home game against a Top 10 team. But they aren't as good as Nevada. Not even close, really. Loyola lost by 12 to Boston College, the best team they've faced so far. And BC isn't as good as Nevada either. Loyola also has a home loss to Furman on its resume. Nevada is legit. They are big-time legit. They have too much depth, too much talent and too much experience for Loyola. This will be a close game. But in the second half I see the Wolfpack pulling away and getting a double-digit win.

2-Unit Play. Take #525 North Texas (+9) over Oklahoma (8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
This one looks like a letdown spot for Oklahoma. They just flew back from the Bahamas on Saturday and now they have to turn around as a big favorite and take on an 8-0 North Texas team. This game means a lot more to North Texas than it does to the Sooners and I think that Oklahoma will find a way to win, but not via blowout.

3-Unit Play. Take #532 Iowa (-11.5) over Pittsburgh (9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
Pittsburgh is one of the most improved teams in the country. They are off to a 6-0 start with new coach Jeff Capel and they have been tearing people up. Here is the issue though: they start three freshmen and this is their first road game of the season. Beyond that, Pitt's hot start has come against the No. 348 ranked schedule in the nation. I like this Iowa team. They can put up points in a hurry and they have been known to light people up in their home gym. I think they will drop the hammer here.

1-Unit Play. Take #538 Duke (-15) over Indiana (9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)
Indiana couldn't handle Arkansas in their first true road of the season. I don't think they are going to be able to handle Cameron Indoor in their second. The Blue Devils are coming off a loss and they are not going to be in the mood to screw around. This number is high for a reason and I don't think that Duke will hold back at all here.

5-Unit Play. Take #554 Washington (-16.5) over Eastern Washington (9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27)

I know I have taken some on the chin with UW so far this year. But I still think there is some talent and potential with these guys. They beat a much better Eastern Washington team by 10 points last year and I think that they can do more this year. Eastern Washington has only played four games this year and they haven't played in 10 days, since an OT win over UM-KC, one of the weakest teams in the country. That's 10 days off and I think that this team is going to be rusty as hell. Further, they have played two games against teams with the talent level similar to Eastern Washington. They lost by 32 points at Syracuse and they lost by 34 points at Oregon.

1-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #516 Notre Dame (-2) over Illinois (7 p.m.) AND Take #536 Wisconsin (-1.5) over N.C. State (9 p.m.)

This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have the Ramblers winning this game outright so we are getting a great line here tonight. The Ramblers match-up very well against this Wolf Pack team and they are 37-18-1 ATS in their last 56 games when playing a team with a winning record. The Ramblers have shot 50% as a team this season while holding opponents to shooting just 34.9% against them at home and this will be a statement game for the Ramblers to prove that their March Madness win over Nevada was no fluke last March. The Ramblers are very good at protecting the perimeter shot and opponents have shot 47.4% against Nevada on the road this season. The Ramblers have held opponents to just 57.7 ppg at home this season while Nevada has allowed 86.5 ppg on the road. Play Loyola-Chicago ATS as we move to 8-3 the last 11 days in CBB
