Montreal has lost six of its last seven games after a solid start to the season to fall to 12-10-5. The Canadiens are in the final game of their five-game homestand where they have gone 1-3 making this a big game to turn things around before heading out on a three-game roadtrip. Montreal is 18-6 in its last 24 games coming off a home loss by two goals or more. Ottawa meanwhile has won three straight games as the defense has actually looked decent. Two of those wins came at home however and the Senators are back on the road where they have lost nine of 12 games and the defense has been the issue on the highway as Ottawa is allowing a league-high 5.08 gpg. The Senators are 1-10 in their last 11 games after having won three of their last four games while going 2-14 in their last 16 road games against teams with a losing home record. Additionally, we play on favorites against the moneyline after scoring one goal or less in their previous game going up against an opponent after scoring six goals or more in their previous game. It is hard to win when you're struggling to find the back of the net and Montreal has been held to average of just 1.6 goals per game in their last 5 losses. The Habs are likely to struggle again here as the Senators have won 3 straight games and have allowed just 1.7 goals per game in the process. Ottawa has certainly been much more potent in the offensive zone of late than the Canadiens have. The Sens are scoring an average of 4.3 goals per game in their last 8 games. With goalie Craig Anderson now "in the zone" and playing very well, they make for a very dangerous divisional road dog in a game like this. The Canadiens have lost 8 of 12 games against teams with a losing record this season and Montreal also has lost 7 of 9 divisional games. It’s hard to trust the 9-13 Miami Heat right now. They have a huge injury list and remain without their best player in Goran Dragic. These injuries have been a big reason to their slow start this season. The Magic have been one of the most underrated teams in the NBA up to this point. They are 11-12 SU and 14-8-1 ATS in their 23 games this year. They have been a great bet on the road, going 8-2-1 ATS in their 11 road games. The Magic have been doing most of their damage over the last month, going 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. I think the wrong team is favored in this matchup. Give me the Magic.

Wofford has built a fine program at a small school, but here on the road vs Kansas hoops program that can recruit some of the best players in the nation, their in trouble , especially considering they will face a team that is wide awake after surviving a home court scare from Stanford last time out. Look for HC Bill Self to have his troops ready for a group that is capable of making life difficult for the Jayhawks and for a top tier effort to be on the agenda.
Note:Wofford's two losses this season were against Power 5 programs North Carolina and Oklahoma.

The Dallas Mavericks have been flying under the radar over the past few weeks. They have gone 8-2 SU & 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. And now they are basically a pick ‘em at home tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, which I believe is a good value once again.
The Mavericks have really been on a tear at home. They are 7-0 SU & 7-0 ATS in their last seven home games, which includes wins over the likes of the Thunder, Jazz, Warriors, Celtics and Clippers. Those are five of the best teams in the NBA.
Now the Mavericks should be able to win their eighth consecutive home game tonight against a struggling Portland Trail Blazers team. The Blazers are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games overall, yet they continue getting too much respect from oddsmakers tonight. They have gone 1-5 SU in their last six games with their only win coming at home by 3 over the Magic as 10-point favorites.
Dallas is 11-2 ATS in home games after having won three of its last four games coming in over the past three seasons. Portland is 0-8 ATS in its last eight games after scoring 100 points or more in its previous game. The Mavericks are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings, including 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Dallas. Bet the Mavericks Tuesday.

Michigan is 8-0 and their last 2 wins were impressive to say the least as they beat Purdue and North Carolina by more than 15 points. They have had the good fortune of getting 5 of their wins on their home court including their last 2. They have to now play a road game at Northwestern who have held 3 of 4 visitors below 60 points scoring. They are one of the better defensive teams in the Big 10 and even better at home. With seniors Law and Pardon leading the way offensively and a spot for a Michigan let down, I will grab the points.

If the Suns weren't expected to be without Booker, I may have used them as a premium play. Even without their top scoring option, I still like their chances of a cover. The Kings won last time out. However, it was only by a point and they'd dropped their previous three games. While they've won four of their last 10, only one of those 10 games resulted in a Kings' victory of greater than five points. The Suns, 0-5 SU/ATS their last five, are 3-1 ATS the past four times that they'd failed to cover five games in a row. The last two meetings here have been extremely close, the Suns winning by two and three, 97-94 and 117-115. Consider grabbing the points.
