The Nuggets already hammered the Magic by 25 points, at Denver, a couple of weeks ago. Schedule in their favor, I like their chances of another big win. While Denver had yesterday off, Orlando is off a win at Miami. The Nuggets last played here nearly exactly a year ago. The Magic were slight favorites for that 12/8/17 game. Yet, the Nuggets still won by 14. With the Nuggets, who won at Toronto on Monday, already a perfect 6-0 SU/ATS when coming off a road win, consider laying the points.

Atlanta is not just one of the worst teams in the league in terms of winning games, but they have are just 9-15 ATS and come into this one having covered just 2 of their last 8 games.
I know the Wizards have been a huge disappointment early, but they have been playing a lot better. Washington is both 4-2 SU and 4-2 ATS over their last 6 games and come in having won and covered two straight.
Washington's defensive numbers on the season are pretty bad, but in their last two games they have held the Nets to 37% from the field and the Knicks to 41.1%. Hawks will also be without one of their top scorers, as Taurean Prince (15 ppg) injured his ankle in their last game.
Turnovers also figure to be a huge part in the Wizards covering this spread. Atlanta ranks last in the NBA averaging 17.8 turnovers/game and Washington is one of the best at forcing mistakes at 16.2.
Wizards are 6-2 ATS last 8 vs a team with a losing record, while the Hawks are a mere 4-12 ATS last 16 vs a team with a losing record and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. Take Washington!

Clippers enter this game playing very well 4-1 SU and just won a close one @ New Orleans the other night. I think the Grizz though get some sweet revenge from almost 2 weeks leading by 8 at half and losing by 5 failing to cover the number.
The Grizzlies aren't playing great right now just 1-4 SU but that adds value to this really good home that is 7-3 SU. This is the Clippers 5th road game in the last 6 games. Sweet revenge happens for Memphis tonight

The New Orleans Pelicans look to escape their recent funk when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. New Orleans has dropped six of its last eight games as it looks to slow a Dallas squad that already is halfway to last season's 24-win total.

The Pelicans committed a season-low seven turnovers in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers and still suffered a 129-126 loss.
Dallas has been one of the NBA's biggest surprises, and Tuesday's 111-102 victory over Portland was its 10th triumph in 13 games.
Emerging star forward Luka Doncic returned from a one-game absence due to a hip injury and recorded 21 points and nine rebounds against the Trail Blazers. Doncic, the third overall pick in this year's draft, also was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for October/November as he averaged 18.5 points in 20 games during that span.

I'll take my chances here with Milwaukee to win here at home by double-digits against the Pistons. I'm expecting a huge effort here from the Bucks off that ugly loss at New York, where they had no one to blame but themselves after letting the Knicks shoot 53.1% from the field. Milwaukee is only allowing opponents to shoot 43.4% from the field at home. They are also 11-2 at the Fiserv Forum, outscoring opponents on average by 14.4 ppg. Pistons had been playing well, but were just annihilated at home by the Thunder 110-83. They shot just 33.0% from the field and lost a key piece to their rotation in Reggie Bullock. Milwaukee is 6-2 ATS last 8 off a SU loss and the Pistons are a mere 3-8 ATS last 11 road games vs a team with a winning home record. Give me the Bucks -8.5!

The LA Clippers rank third in the NBA with 117.7 ppg on the season and they've averaged an even better 122 ppg through their last four games. They shot 59% from the field in a 129-126 road win over the Pelicans on Monday night but also allowed their opponent to hit at a 53% clip.
Here the Clippers will run into Memphis' solid defense, but I still think we'll see this game fly over the total. The over/under is 4-2 in the Grizzlies last six games and they gave up 122 to the Raptors on Nov 27. While Clippers as a team might not be quite as good as the Raptors, their offense is not far off.
Seven of the last eight meetings have gone over the total and the posted number for this contest look very light to me.

My money is on the Gamecocks to cash in a win and cover on the road against the Cowboys. South Carolina. While South Carolina is down this year, they should have no problem beating Wyoming by double-digits. The Cowboys are just 2-6 overall and 1-3 at home (0-4 ATS at home). They have lost at home to the likes of Northern Colorado, Niagara and UC-Santa Barbara. A big reason for Wyoming's struggles is their defense, which comes in allowing 79.2 ppg. Hard to see them containing this Gamecocks offense, which is averaging 78.5 ppg on there road. Cowboys are 3-12 ATS last 15 after 2 straight games with a combined score of 155 or more and 1-7 ATS last 8 non-conference games.

The 14-9 LA Lakers will take on the 11-13 San Antonio Spurs tonight at Staples Center, as the two rivals meet for the third time this season. The Spurs recorded a 143-142 overtime victory in Los Angeles back on Oct 22 and were also able to fashion a 110-106 home triumph over the Lakers five days later. However, the Spurs stumble into this contest having lost three of their last four games, with all of the defeats coming by more than 30 points, including Tuesday's 139-105 setback at Utah. Meanwhile, the Lakers have won their last three contests by an average of 14.3 PPG, with Monday's 120-96 rout of Phoenix marking the team's largest margin of victory this season.
San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich was dismayed with the latest whipping, telling reporters, "We're very challenged defensively." No kidding! San Antonio's defense was virtually nonexistent in Tuesday's loss as the team allowed the Jazz to shoot 60.7 percent and sink a franchise-record 20, three-pointers on 33 attempts. The Spurs have given up an average of 127.3 PPG over their last six contests and the effort versus Utah marked the third time they have allowed 135 or more during the stretch.
LA started 2-5 but have since put things together by capturing 12 of their last 16 games. However, the Lakers still have plenty of areas they're looking to improve. One is their turnover rate. They're averaging the fourth-most turnovers in the league (15.7), and have committed at least 15 in six of the past seven games. The Lakers are allowing an average of 111.0 PPG (17th of 30 teams) but they've given up fewer in seven of the past eight games while going 6-2.
The Lakers are 9-4 SU at home but just 6-7 ATS. However, LA has won five of its last six home games, covering all FIVE of the wins. The Spurs have beaten them twice already this season and enough is ENOUGH. Lay the points!

The set-up: The Blackhawks are a disaster, entering this one having lost four straight, most recently a 3-2 setback to Calgary. Goaltender Crawford allowed three goals on 41 shots. The Ducks are trending in the opposite direction, having won six of their last seven, most recently a thrilling 6-5 come from behind win over the Capitals.
The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but Anaheim is 5-0 in its last five home games following a road trip of seven or more days. I don’t anticipate any upsets and overall I think this is pretty good value. Consider the Ducks in this one.
