Ideally those are the numbers we want, If you can find improved numbers, that's great...I feel good about this teaser wager though as is.

Both teams are big defensive teams and neither team on offense is anything special...Jags can't score right now even at home and now taking them on the road could be a bit of the same..It will take the Jags to hit on some big plays and Tenn to be missing assignments..I doubt we see that....Jags defense hasn't given up and they can slow down any team...Jags might give one last effort here before the season is over..Jags have no shot at anything, but all i care about is if the defense comes to play like it has the last two games.

These teams just don't have the offense and the titans offense should be able to break through at some point to get a win or at least a cover of 1.5...I just don't see these teams doing much unless the refs help them move the chains...it is a prime time game, so who knows what might happen, but I'm hoping we get a bunch of FG's in this one..i think we are safe though tonight.

NOTE: This total has dropped a couple points because McCollum for Portland has been ruled out. This is still a play at the current line but will be graded as always, win or lose, at the released line.

The Suns are really struggling on offense lately, and they have averaged just 96 PPG in their last four contests, three of which saw them finish the game under the century mark, which is becoming very rare in this day's NBA. And because scoring is up league wide, the bookies have to post high totals every night. This looks like one where they got it wrong. Devin Booker is the best offensive weapon for the Suns, and he has been banged up lately and will be out here, and their offense will suffer as a result. The Blazers have been better on defense at home than on the road, but they have been road warriors for awhile and haven't played much at home in the last couple weeks. We think they put up a big defensive effort against a struggling Suns offense and we don't see the Suns getting over 100 here tonight. The Blazers offense has been hit or miss, and we just don't see them exploding for a 120+ type game in this one. They should do enough to win handily and will probably dribble the shot clock out at the end of the game.

Take Jacksonville ATS as my 7-Unit NFL Smash for Thursday night. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I have the Jaguars winning this game outright tonight so we are getting a great line. The Jags have the superior defense and they have allowed just 14.7 ppg over their last 3 games. The Jags have also allowed just 14.5 ppg against divisional opponents this season and this is also a revenge spot for them similar to the spot against the Colts last week where I gave out the Jaguars on my YouTube channel. This is a Jaguars team that could have easily been 8-4 coming into this game if it wasn't for some unlucky breaks and more consistent play from Bortles. I like Kessler much better under center as he makes very smart decisions that are safe with the ball. Kessler has completed 72.2% of his passes this season going 39 of 54 for 309 total yards, and the way this Jaguars defense is playing he just needs to not turnover the ball for the Jags to get the win tonight. The Jaguars have allowed the 3rd least number of yards this season and the 3rd least number of passing yards this season. The Jaguars just held a very good Colts QB that has completed 67.9% of his passes this season to completing just 63.5% against them, which was the 2nd lowest completion rate Luck has had against an opponent this season. The Jaguars have held opponents to just 4.7 ppg in the 1st half of games over their last 3 games and just 6.1 ppg in the 1st half of games played on a natural grass field. The Titans have allowed 21.3 ppg in the 1st half of games over their last 3 games and 31.3 ppg overall over their last 3 games. Opponents do not turn the ball over very often against the Titans averaging just 0.8 turnovers per game against them this season. The Titans have averaged just 14 ppg against divisional opponents this season and just 286 total yards against divisional opponents. The Titans have also averaged just 17.7 ppg over their last 3 games and this is the same Titans team that was blown out 38-10 by the same Colts team that the Jags just beat 6-0 last week. The Titans are just 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 games after allowing more than 150 rushing yards in their previous game and now they face a well rested Fournette. Play the Jacksonville ATS as we move to 23-8 on the NFL season and 10-0 on Thursday in the NFL.
