Rivalry game here as this is a Big 5 game. The rivalry means more to Penn than Villanova. Penn is off to an 8-2 start the two losses came during a tournament when Penn played 3 games in 4 days. Penn beat N. Iowa in the first game but lost the last two to Kansas St and Oregon St. Playing better teams and playing back to back nights I feel the lack of depth caught up to Penn especially in back to back nights. Villanova returned only two starters this year and started the season 2-2 and everyone was asking whats wrong with Villanova? Losing to Michigan in the 3rd game of the season not a big deal and that shocking loss to Furman doesn’t look so bad now that Furman is 10-0 and ranked in Top 25. The scheduling spot is all Penn as they catch Villanova on their home floor after Villanova just ran the Big 5 gauntlet of La Salle, Temple, St. Joes and now Penn. Playing all the Philadelphia schools in a row is draining in itself but look who is on deck for Villanova that’s right #1 Kansas. Villanova gets caught looking ahead. Grab Penn and the points.

The Cowboys have enjoyed six days off after their thrilling comeback win over South Carolina last Wednesday. After tonight’s game against Denver they’ll be off for ten more days. Rest and the fact that the Cowboys have not left the state of Wyoming since November 28th are factored into this spread. Grab the value on a Denver team that is winless on the road.

For the second time this season Central Florida will host a smaller school as a ten point favorite. Against Northern Kentucky the Knights used a strong second half run to pull away and cover. Tuesday they’ll face a Georgia Southern team that was a smaller underdog against the Arizona Wildcats last week. Essentially oddsmakers are expecting the third straight road game of Georgia Southern to be an issue. Instead grab the value on Georgia Southern.
7-Unit Play. #606 Take New Mexico (+4.5) over Colorado (9 p.m., Tuesday, December 11)
Really nice finish with our 6-Unit top play Monday with Pacific getting the cover late. That now makes 10-1 with our College Hoops plays the last four days for a sizzling +$3,060 in profit. Let's do one better tonight with this 7-U play on a home underdog we look to win outright. The Pit is always a difficult place for any road team to find a win. That will prove to be the case with a Buffaloes team that has not challenged itself away from Boulder so far. Over the last three years Colorado is 9-26 on the road. This season the Buffaloes have played six of their eight games against teams with an RPI of 150+, four with a 200+ RPI. That being said, I like the Lobos in this spot. They had a young team last year that really overachieved, but by doing so has created more collegiate proven talent for this campaign. CU has only played true road games at Air Force and San Diego. You figured the first was given. But they lost to an up-an-coming Torreros program that is fairly comparable to this Lobos team. I don't trust Colorado on the road almost as much as I trust New Mexico to show up at home for a quality performance. This Buffs program is just 19-41-1 ATS in their last 61 road games over the last few seasons. Furthermore, they are just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games following three or more straight home games. And coming off four in a row at home, all as a double digit favorite to inferior teams, I think this is a bad spot for them. Colorado won this game last year at home, but look for the underdog to rise up and grab the victory on their own campus. Give me the points and the home court edge for the Lobos in Albuquerque.
