I'm taking the points with Northern Illinois on Thursday night. Quick revenge for the Huskies after losing in OT earlier this season. The MAC entry was great on the glass that night, but couldn't find their range, making just 40% of their FGA, including a 6 of 23 night from behind the arc. That was the second game of the season for the Huskies who have certainly found their shot since, ranked #1 in college basketball, making over 52% of their shots. They're deadly from the 3-point line and the good news for the Huskies is that the Norse will play uptempo basketball. After losing in OT in November, we expect NIU to cover at the very least. They're on a roll on the offensive and have covered 17 of their last 21 points after topping 90 points in their previous game. Take #610 Houston -4 over Utah State (8p.m., Thursday, December 20 ESPN 3) The Aggies may be the second-best team in the MWC, but they have played a very easy schedule in the nonconference portion of the season and they have yet to record a quality win on the season. Houston will be an upper team in the AAC and should be able to win this game at home by 8-10 points. The Cougars are 18-7 ATS (2 pushes) in their last 27 games.

The Blue Devils have played a lot tougher opponents this season then Texas Tech and it will show in this game. The Blue Devils have held opponents to shooting just 36.7% against them this season well Duke has shot 50.2% as a team overall. The Blue Devils have averaged 93.6 points per game this season and 93.2 points per game on the road. Texas Tech has averaged 77.5 points per game this season and 75.3 points per game on the road. Texas Tech is undefeated this season because of their weak scheduling and I have Duke winning this game by at least 15 points tonight at Madison Square Garden. Duke is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and Texas Tech is just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against an ACC opponent. I know the Long Beach St 49ers have only 3 wins this season but the 49ers played a brutal schedule and tonight I see them getting the big home win. Pepperdine has dropped back-to-back games and 4 out 5 and with Pepperdine playing without Kameron Edwards I see them struggling to score on the road. With this number dropping overnight I'm laying the small number with LBSU and the 49ers get the much needed home 'W'. Pepperdine is 1-5 ATS against Big West teams and the LBSU 49ers are 5-1 ATS following a SU loss.
