3-Unit Play. #838 Take Wyoming (+7) over East Tennessee State (7 p.m., Friday, December 21)

Wyoming hasn't had a good first month of the season, but I'll take them and the points in El Paso. ETSU has a couple of sketchy losses, so I wouldn't past them to be quite average. The Cowboys have the best player on the court in Justin James. He's NBA material. Let's see if he and his teammates can't spring an upset in this one.

3-Unit Play. #824 Take Marquette (-2.5) over Buffalo (8:30 p.m., Friday, December 21)

We bet on the Bulls as a small underdog when they won outright at Syracuse on Tuesday. But I don't see them getting this one, and that would be their first loss of the year. Marquette has wins at home against Wisconsin and Kansas State. This would be another quality resume victory. Behind Markus Howard they remove Buffalo from the unbeaten list.

3-Unit Play. #818 Take Alabama (-2) over Penn State (9 p.m., Friday, December 21)

I definitely feel like the Tide should be favored by more in this game. Alabama has some good wins so far this year. Penn State is unproven away from home, and I don't see them being better than 'Bama on their home floor. Lay the modest number here.


5-Unit Play. Take #518 Portland (-2) over Utah (10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21)

This is a tough spot for the Jazz. They are coming into this game off a big win over the Golden State Warriors, so the let down is there, and now they have to face a Portland team that they struggle with. The Blazers have covered five of the last six meetings versus Utah in Portland and they are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 home games versus teams with losing road records. Utah lost four of five prior to knocking off the Warriors and going on the road, where they are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five roadies, is not a good thing. Look for the guard play of the Blazers to be just too much for Utah to overcome in this one.

4 Unit Play. Take #516 Sacramento -2 over Memphis (10:05p.m., Friday December 21)
The Sacramento Kings continue to be one of the biggest surprises in the Association and tonight at home I see them taking care of business against the Memphis Grizzlies. Last month in Memphis the Kings lost 112-104 and tonight-home court holds because Memphis comes to Sacramento losers of 4-Straight and 6 out 7. The Kings also come into this game struggling as they have dropped back-to-back home games but tonight I see the Kings getting back to winning. Memphis is 1-4 ATS last 5-road games and the Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against Western Conference opponents. Sacramento is 7-3 ATS last 10 games and the Kings are 13-3 ATS following a day off. The home team in this series is also a perfect 4-0ATS.

7 Unit Play. Take #520 Los Angeles Lakers -5.5 over New Orleans Pelicans (10:35 PM, Friday, December 21, ESPN)

The Los Angeles Lakers will look to get back on track after losing three of their last four games when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night. The Lakers have posted a 6-2 ATS record in their last eight home games and they are an even better 11-2 straight up in their last thirteen games at Staples. They have also been very good off an ATS loss, covering seven of their last ten when they were in that spot. The Pelicans, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 0-5 ATS in their last five Friday night games for whatever reason and they have failed to cover the number in each of their last six games following an ATS win. Throw in the fact that the favorite is a perfect 6-0 ATS in the last six head to head meetings between the two teams along with the fact that the Lakers will be out for a bit of revenge after getting swept last season (3 games) by the Pelicans and we're going to lay the points with the Lakers here in a game that our numbers have them winning by double digits in LA on Friday night.

The Oregon St Beavers will look for back to back wins after dropping games to St Louis and Texas A&M when they take on the Kent St Golden Flashes at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, OR on Friday afternoon. The Beavers have posted a 4-1 ATS record in their last five home games and they have gone an excellent 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games where they faced a team with a winning % of .500 or higher. The Golden Flashes, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games and they have failed to cover the number in six of their last seven games played on a Friday for whatever reason. Throw in the fact that Oregon St will be out for a bit of revenge after losing to Kent 79-78 last season and we're going to lay the points here with the Beavers to get the home win and cover in Corvallis on Friday afternoon.

The Ole Miss Rebels will look to extend their win streak to six games when they hit the road to take on the Middle Tennessee St Blue Raiders at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on Friday night. The Rebels have posted a perfect 4-0 ATS record in their last four games following a straight up win and they have that same perfect 4-0 ATS record off an ATS victory. They have also covered the number in five straight non-conference games and they are an impressive 10-1 AST in their last eleven games overall going back to the 2017/18 season. Middle Tennessee, on the other hand, has struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-10 ATS in their last eleven games where they faced a team with a winning record and they are an awful 3-13 ATS in their last sixteen non-conference games. They have also failed to cover the number in seven straight games following a straight up loss and they are just 1-11 ATS in their last twelve games overall. Throw in the fact that MTSU is 0-4 ATS in their last four neutral site games while Ole Miss is 7-3 ATS in that same spot and we're going to lay the big number here with the Rebels in a game that we have them winning in blowout fashion in Nashville on Friday night.

The Oklahoma Sooners will look for their seventh win in a row when they hit the road to take on the Northwestern Wildcats at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, IL on Friday night. The Sooners have posted a perfect 4-0 ATS record in their last four games where they faced a team with a winning % of .600 or higher and they are also a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win. They have also gone an impressive 9-1-1 ATS in their last eleven non-conference games and they have that same 9-1-1 ATS record in their last eleven games overall. Northwestern, on the other hand, has struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS win and they are an awful 3-9 ATS in their last twelve games played on a Friday night for whatever reason. They also haven't been able to follow up a blowout win with another good performance against the number as they have gone 0-7 ATS in their last seven games following a straight up win by 20 points or more. Throw in the fact that Oklahoma blew out the Wildcats last season along with the fact that the Sooners are 13-3-1 ATS in their last seventeen road games following three or more games in a row at home and we're going to take the point or so with them here in a game that we have them winning outright on the road in Evanston on Friday night.
