Tonight at the AT&T Center we get to watch a nice Western Conference matchup between the Denver Nuggets visiting the San Antonio Spurs. Both teams are coming off losses as the Nuggets lost on the road against the Clippers 132-111 four nights ago and the Spurs lost on the road to the Rockets 108-101. I know the Nuggets have been the surprise team of the league so far but the Nuggets play different on the road then at home. Denver has dropped 3-Straight road game while the Spurs have won 6 out 7 home games. Tonight we should see a really close game but since the Spurs get this game at home and we are laying a soft number I'm taking the Spurs to squeak out a victory and cover this game. Denver is 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games against Southwest Division teams and the San Antonio Spurs are 7-2-1 ATS last 10 games.

3-Unit Play. #234. Take California PK over TCU (Wednesday @ 9pm est)
Cal is the better team. Cal did not go to a bowl game last year so they will be stolked for this game and I just don't trust TCU as they come off back to back wins including Oklahoma State. Cal's defense is top 10 and it is elite frankly and as they face a TCU team that is fickle on the offensive side of the ball given week to week, I think Cal will have what it takes and bounce-back nicely after the Stanford loss. This is a Cal team that had some hallmark wins all year long and give me the better defense with a better overall offensive/defensive line, as I think Cal gets it done in a solid public fade Wednesday Night.
