My money is on Clemson to cash in a winning ticket here as a road dog against the Orange. I know that Syracuse is coming in off a double-digit win at Notre Dame, but the Irish are down. It wasn't that long ago we saw the Orange lose back-to-back at home against the likes of Old Dominion and Buffalo. Clemson will be ready to go after getting rolled by 21 at Duke in their ACC opener and I fully expect them to win this game outright. Bet the Tigers +5!

Two teams heading in different directions square off Tuesday when the San Antonio Spurs visit the Memphis Grizzlies. San Antonio won a season-best five straight games and 13 of its last 16 while the Grizzlies have dropped six straight games and 13 of their past 16.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich's next victory will be the 1,222th of his career and it will snap a tie with Jerry Sloan for third place on the all-time list. Popovich tied Sloan on Monday when standout guard DeMar DeRozan recorded 26 points and nine assists to help San Antonio post a 119-107 road win over the Detroit Pistons. Memphis' recent woes continued with Monday's 114-95 road loss to New Orleans as the Pelicans scored an astounding 70 points in the paint.
Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting against the Pistons for his sixth 20-point outing in the past seven games. Aldridge is averaging 26.7 points and made 75-of-122 field-goal attempts during the stretch as he and DeRozan continue to mesh.
The teams split two games in San Antonio with the Grizzlies winning 104-103 on Nov. 21 and the Spurs prevailing 108-88 last Saturday.

Kevin Willard is quickly proving himself to be one of the most underrated head coaches in the country. He got the Seton Hall Pirates to their third straight NCAA Tournament last year. And with all that he lost in the offseason with just one returning starter, what he’s done so far this year is remarkable.
Indeed, the Pirates are off to an 11-4 start this season. Three of their four losses came by 5 points or fewer, and they have beaten the likes of Kentucky on a neutral, and both Maryland and Xavier in true road games to show what they are capable of.
This is about as weak of a Butler team as I can remember. The Bulldogs are just 10-5 this season with losses to Dayton, Saint Louis, Indiana, Florida and Georgetown. Most concerning is the losses by Butler in their only two true road games this season. They lost 52-64 as 3.5-point favorites at Saint Louis, and 43-77 as 4.5-point dogs at Florida. I expect them to fall to 0-3 SU & 0-3 ATS in true road games with a loss at Seton Hall tonight.
Butler is 1-12 ATS in road games off a home game over the last two seasons. The Bulldogs are 1-11 ATS in road games after scoring 80 points or more over the last two years. The Pirates are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. Bet Seton Hall Wednesday.

I'll take my chances here with Orlando as a near double-digit dog against the Jazz. I just think the number is too good to pass up. The Magic come in off 3 straight double-digit road losses and there's no way this number isn't inflated (public won't want anything to do with Orlando).
I'm not saying they are going to go into Utah and get a win, but I think they can keep it within single-digits. This isn't exactly a great spot for the Jazz either. Utah has had just 1-day off after concluding a 4-game road trip with an ugly 12-point loss at Milwaukee. They also lost starting point guard Ricky Rubio in the loss to the Bucks and may be without backup Raul Neto, who tweaked his hamstring in the same game.
If that wasn't enough to convince you the Magic are the right side, Over the last 5 seasons, underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points off 3 straight road losses are a dominant 34-8 (81%) ATS in non-conference games. Give me Orlando +9!
