The Patriots are back in the Super Bowl, and I'm not going to be the one to pick against them, not when they'll be up against a Rams team with a quarterback I don't particularly trust in big spots and a defense that has trouble shutting down the run. Why does that matter? Because the Pats have morphed into a smashmouth rushing offense, running for 176 yards against the Chiefs in just the latest big performance by Sony Michel and company. I think Bill Belichick will do enough defensively to slow down Sean McVay and give the Patriots what could be a fitting ending to the dynasty they began in 2002 by beating the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Has anyone seen results of "Hank Stram's" 2019 super bowl formula ??

The classic "Hank Stram" point system gives the Patriots a big advantage over the Rams - 50 to 19.5. That system rewards prior Super Bowl wins in last 3 years - advantage NE

I know the system was 34-10 at one point but Im curious what it has done the last 5-6 years, The EA Sports simulation also has done well and has the Patriots winning but thise are just 2 of many indicators.

Stram passed away in 2005...here is his super bowl formula for picking the winner.
This one so far is 40-6-2 with a win last year after a 3 year hiatus.

Give 10 points to a team if they have won a Super Bowl in the last three seasons. Seattle
Give 8.0 points to either team if their opponent is playing in their very first Super Bowl in franchise history. Push
Give 8.0 points to the team that has given up the fewer amount of defensive rushes. New England
Give 7.0 points to the team with the best straight up win/loss record including playoffs. Push
Give 7.0 points to the team with the most offensive rushes on the season. Seattle
Give 5.0 points to the team with the better defensive yards-per-carry average. Seattle
Give 4.0 points to the team that has the best net kick-punt touchdown returns. New EnglandGive 4.0 points to the team who performed better against the point spread in the regular season. Seattle
Give 4.0 points to the team that has the better net penalty yards number. New England

Super Bowl #52 will be played Sunday and I am confident I will once again make another giant winning score with a 300-unit play.
How big a score will that be? My average release is rated 15 units, giving you some idea of just how strongly I feel about this year’s big game - 300 units vs. 15 units. Do the math.
The “Silver Bullet” formula again wins the side and total and the parlay that goes with those two bets.
I am among those who has seen all of the 51 previous Super Bowl games and through the years have been involved in some of history’s biggest betting coups on this game - one in mid-six figures.
