Look, Texas needs this win in the biggest and worst way possible. Shake Smart could be getting fired this year for starters as he had a few years to turn this program around and the fact that Rick Barnes was fired in Texas and left to make Tennessee the #1 team in the Land does not help his cause. Texas has won some big games at home including beating a dynamic Purdue team at home and only lost by a bucket to Kansas on the road earlier this year. This is a massive rivalry as well and though Kansas comes off a loss to Kentucky, this is a Kansas team remember that lost to West Virginia on the road which is glaring and they lack an inside presence as well. This is a decent public fade, Kansas is outside the top 270 in free throw shooting percentage and also lost to Iowa State this year by 17 as well. Texas is 3-4 in conference play, needs this win to get to 4-4, beat a very good Kansas State team on the road and at the end of the day with the crowd, with revenge and being at home with a stronger inside presence they likely get it done here. As per Ohio State, they are coming on well finally after losing a series of games and in this rivalry, we will take the points for certain as this team is still sub .500 in conference play and a strong showing or even win at Michigan will go a long way for their cause. Finally, as per Arkansas, they come off yet another loss to Texas Tech on the road and with Georgia beating Texas (Another reason why Texas is mad), this is a great let down spot for Georgia as we like Arkansas to get back on track and rout Georgia like they did against Missouri which was our 5* recently. Arkansas is still a very difficult place to play and we like the Hogs to win by double-digits here.
